Mr. Goodwrench Indeed.......

OK...Please allow me to give everyone out there some words of advice...
Please do not have a can of liquid wrench on your bathroom shelf, next to a can of Right Guard, If you are in a hurry in the morning and you do NOT have your glasses on after a very steamy shower...
...Unless of course you want to smell like some kind of mechanic, or apartment complex handiman...All Day Long!!!!
.
"What a Maroon"!!
.
Peace!!!

Mmmmmmmm.........

Oh yeah Baby, This really warms the cockles on a brisk overcast Spring-Day!!
.
Step One..Boil any smoked bone that you may have..

Ham Hock
Smoked Neck Bones
Or Bacon for that matter..for one hour!!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr...........

Hi Everybody, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, the inner-most workings of my dryer are in such great discord with the perceived usage expectations, that I cannot with any degree of accuracy state when the Sear's repairman can come to see me..
However!!, With-out fear of being too far wrong, I can safely say that it should be sometime very soon, because being at the laundramat on a Sunday afternoon, does NOT make the G-Man very chipper.....
.
Be sure to tune in tomorrow to see how a week-old hambone, can turn into a delicious pot of Split-Pea with Ham soup!!!
.
Peace...!!!

Friday Flash 55......

From the very first time that you try it, the addiction begins! Once you experience the exhilaration, you are hooked! As in anything, at first you become a whore to it, you CAN'T get enough! Then, as in anything...
The frequency wanes.
Quality becomes unimportant.
Passion is just a distant memory.
Blogs go unattented..
Blogs die.....
.

Have a GREAT week-end everybody, if you or someone you know has written a Flash 55, please let me know, I will be over to read, enjoy, and comment..
.
Peace....!!!

Wild Man.........

If you read my last post, I bid a fond farewell to a couple of Blog Icons.. Also, Last week seemed to be the last time several bloggers were going to participate in HNT. I can fully understand why mothers with teens at home would think twice about posting Risque' pics. I also do understand that some women are very proud of their still 'rockin' bods..!! To each her own as I say...
I enjoy Thursday's picture-fest because it's an easy post, and it's fun. Now as you all know, The beautiful Susie has passed the Friday 55 torch over to me. I consider this an honor ( or honour as Miss Strumpet spells it), because there are some mighty talented folks in Blog-Land.
Please think about playing tomorrow, it's fun, it's easy, it's exspressive, and I really enjoy reading all the diversity that people have floating around in their brain.. And oh BTW, Welcome Back Jillie Bean..!!!!! Yay!!!..Cabo san Lucas will never be the same...G

Peace..!!!

Bon Chance...........

This past Wednesday, my good friend and Blog Icon, Sarah..aka Roxi The Hot Bitch, has decided to pull her blog!! As many of you know, she was my reason, and inspiration to blog in the first place. She has always wanted to become a police officer, and she knows that someday she will have to disclose all WEB Sites, so she decided to pull the plug now..
She was crass, classy, bright and sassy. She was Model Beautiful, and Sailor Salty. She was stunningly beautiful, and just one of the guys..She was a shining star, in a dimly lit world!!!!
Sarah ...Good luck in attaining your dream....xox
.
Now we come to Mr. Rick...aka Top Cat..!!!
TC stopped posting several weeks back, but there was always a glimmer of hope that he would return because he has done this before. But this past week-end we exchanged Easter Greetings and he indicated that this time he was done with it for good.
Now there was a careing, warm, intelligent, talented, and very nice guy. He would always have a kind word for everyone, and I knew of NO ONE that did not respect and love him. Our blog world is a lot emptier because of his departure.
Good Luck Rick, and thanks for touching our lives...
.
I hate Eulogies.....Peace..!!!

Easter Menu.......

Hi Everybody, I hope you all had a great Holiday!!
In Michigan, if you move to another state, one of the home-grown products that your friends just have to bring you when they visit, is Vernor's Ginger Ale. It's Bubbly, it's Spicy, it's delicious!!
It is also the favorite item that cooking folks like to bake their ham in.
I prefer the Bone-In ham. It is not pre-formed, and you can use the bone for soup later..
The Fresh Kielbasa was just ground and stuffed yesterday by my good friend Brian Berkey who owns a market.
The potato salad was very crunchy and a bit tangy thanks to the authentic Hungarian Paprika that my daughter sent me from Budapest last year when she was in Europe..
I also had Green Bean Casserole, Cresant Roles, and Deviled Eggs, and Pierogies..
For dessert we had Carrot Cake.
Speaking of the daughter, she came up for dinner today from college, how about those Czech Shoes that she picked up in a Prague Flea Mkt. for 10 Crowns..(2.50)..
Anyway, I hope you and your family had a swell day...
Peace...!!

Bathroom HNT.......

It seems that more often than not I've ducked into the bathroom at both here and at work, to take an HNT pic. So since you are already in the privy with the G-Man, you may as well be treated to some Bathroom humor...enjoy!!!

Holy Spring-Time Batman........

The Official State Bird of Michigan is the Robin...
.
There are prettier birds..But what I LOVE about the Robin is, when you see one, Spring is not far behind!!!
.
I have yet to hear OR see one yet....I'm waiting!!!
.
...waiting patiently.

...for now.

" I Like Children, If They Are Properly Cooked.....

Hi Everybody!!! I absolutely had NO ideas for a post today, so I pulled a topic right out of my ass tonight and decided to wing a wet Q-Tip at my extensive library and post about whatever my soft projectile landed on..I hope you appreciate the good taste displayed here by not actually seeing a pic of someone pulling something out of someone's ass..Your Welcome!

Thwaaaap!..W.C. Fields!!!!

A few quotes from the original movie curmudgeon...

.
"Reminds me of a safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew, and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water"
.
"Never try to impress a woman, because if you do, you'll have to keep up that standard for the rest of your life"
.
"I'm free of all prejudices. I hate everyone equally"

"I never vote for anyone. I always vote against"!
.
" Start everyday off with a smile, and get it over with"!

" Twas a woman that drove me to drink..And I never had the courtesy to thank her for it"!
.
" I always keep a supply of liquor handy in case I see a snake--Which I also keep handy"!

Hi Everybody..If you recall, a few weeks back my dryer went on the fritz, since shortly after that I was gone for 10 days, and this week I was very busy at work, I haven't had the time to get it fixed..But with Spring just around the corner, I was able to upgrade my present situation from the basement to the back yard..

Huge oysters on the half-shell..
Oysters Rockefeller baked to perfection..

Hi everybody, this brings to a close the saga of G-Man's Floridian Escapade!
Thanks for being so patient, This was a place Called the Boston Lobster Feast.. It was absolute heaven, Every time we approached the raw bar, this guy would come up to us... Tong and lobster in hand, and practically force those wonderful red steamed morcels of succulence down our throats..He did that 4 times with me. The 3rd pic down with me dunking a whole tail in the melted butter like a French Fry.....Priceless!!!!!
Hahahahaha.....
Have a great week-end everyone, and if you or any of your friends participated in this weeks Flash 55, please tell me about it, I promise I'll read and reply ..Thanks..G

Tourism 101.......

Hi everybody, I have been to Florida probably 35 times in my life, and I have never been on an airboat. I thought it was just about time I finally did..

As you can see we are on beautiful Cypress Lake, the land surrounding this body of water, just South of Kissimmee, is all a protected wet-lands. Because of that, there are no homes on the lake and it looks very desolate. The airplane engine was so loud that you had to wear protective ear gear.

The tree in the 3rd pic is a 400 year old Cypress Tree, the 4th pic is a whole bunch of baby gators, possibly as many as 16. But I apologize for the piss poor quality of my camera phone, it's all I had. You have to look closer like a 'Where's Waldo' thing...sorry.

The last pic is a little easier to make out the big 10 footer in the middle of the shot..

All in all it was very enjoyable, I highly recommend it.

Bear with me, just 2 more installments...

Peace...!

The 3 B's of Bike Week.......

Day Two of the Daytona Bike Week Funfest, Brings us to the inevitable...
Bikes...Booze....Babes
The first picture is a motorcycle known as a "Boss Hoss", notice that it has a V-8 engine under the seat. Very nice bike, only one thing wrong with it...
It ain't a Harley!!
.
The dark pic is a friendly neighborhood tavern that offered Dollar Drafts, and Dollar Dogs.
The seats on the porch were a welcome relief from all the commotions...
.
The remaining three pics are just some of the beautiful scenery available during Bike Week!
The last chick was kind of annoying, she was a Copenhagen Chick trying to get you into the pavillion to get some free samples of some 'chew'... Of course I went in...Then she had a cow about me taking her picture outside, she said pictures only INSIDE,...You know what I said?
CLICK!!!
.
....Stay Tuned!!!!

Peace...!!!

Sick of Winter.........

Hi everybody, It's great to be back in the frozen tundra once again. All that sun and warm ocean breazes can drive you bonkers.. I'm very Non-Plussed tonight, I have a bevy of pics I was hoping to show you this evening, but Blogger is jacking with me, and will only let me post one pic at a time..This is taking all the fun out of being back...
.
Anyway, one of the many things I love about the South is it's cuisine. To me, you really know that ya'll are in the South when you see 'Bald peanuts' everywhere.
We also stopped on the way down to visit the retired brother of one of my riding buddies.
This guy can flat-out BB-Que!!!
Those ribs in the pic may seem a bit burnt to you, but trust me, after a 12 hr indirect slow cook in a mix of oak and pecan wood, they pulled right apart with ease.
After unloading the bikes, we made a quick ride to Daytona Beach to check out the action...
Those pics will be posted tomorrow...
I really missed everybody this past week, although I will admit that a break from everything was well needed..
Susie-Cue, thanks for pulling double duty for me, I am much obliged.....
.
Theres NO place like Home.......
Peace...!
