Retro Wednesday.........

This lamp has been around for a long time, I can only tell you that it was made by the Van Dyke Lamp CO. of Chicago..See how old the plug is?
Well maybe you can't, cell phone photography is NOT the best..hehehe, sorry.
Have a Happy Hump Day....
Peace..!!!

what is a hump day???????????

Is Mona being serious?

Hump day is the half way point of a week. If you think of it as a hill (or a hump) you spend Monday, Tuesday, and the first part of Wednesday climbing the hump. The second half of the work week (last half of Wednesday and all of Thursday and Friday) you are going down the hump. So Wednesday is considered hump day because it is the day you make it to the top and it is all downhill from here. I hope that makes sense Mona.

Very nice lamp and it is made of wood, even nicer. Wow that plug is the old fashion no larger plug-in prong type. Have you ever thought of opening a museum G? You could either make money for sharing your treasures or you could at least have a lot of people to talk with. Somehow I think you would have fun with that.

Very nice retro item and kind of timely. I woke up in the middle of the night and went on the computer. When I turned on my little lamp by the computer it immediately burned out. So lamps were on my mind.

I don't think I've ever seen one quite like that. Does it still work? Happy Hump Day, G-san.:)
