Letting Off a Little Steam.....

Hi Everybody.....

Are you glad The Superbowl is over? I sure am! The worst thing about having a football
game crammed down your throat is the fact that all of the other networks didn't want
to show any 'new' programing during the game. That meant on the Animal Planet we
got to watch 'The Puppy Bowl' instead of Finding Bigfoot Grrrrrrrr.......

And last night? No Blacklist, instead we get 50 years of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit BS...

And why on God's White Earth do we have to have the NJ Traffic Jam Scandal shoved
up our ass by all the media? I could give a rip about Governor Humpty Dumpty and his
heartfelt denials.

I'm also sick of....
Heroin overdoses by 'troubled' performers
Beyonce's flaunting her new slim figure
Favorite Super Bowl Ads
The Exploits of Justin Bieber....
The dysfunctions of the Woody Allen's present and past family.

Whew!......That felt good, Thanks....Did I forget something?

Galen, I think you have pretty much summed up the irritations of television at the moment. I would say the best thing about the Super Bowl (for me) was the halftime show. Truly I cannot still believe that this was the television program which drew the largest audience of all time in the history of television!

I'm so glad you mentioned the Traffic issue. As a Jersey Girl, I'm faced with it daily when I'm reading the local news. Part of the discussion always focuses on how this will impact his campaign if he runs for president and I've only heard one pundit say, it doesn't matter because NO ONE OUTSIDE OF NJ CARES! I don't even care!

You forgot to add: I am sick and tired of losing BB games by one fucking point!

Hey now, I LIKE the Puppy Bowl! And I'm sad about Philip Seymour Hoffman, too. But the way the Super Bowl takes over the known world got old a long time ago.

WGAS about Duck Dynasty, Marriage Boot Camp or Wahlburgers? Not me. As for the Biebs, he is a waste of oxygen.

PBS - Downtown Abbey and Sherlock!!!! I totally did not watch one LICK of the SuperBowl (hubby was working :)

Annoyed with Obama dodging good questions by Bill OReilly! A little over ten minutes of evasion - it was disgusting. I wish Bill would have started yelling at him (I know I was on my side of the TV)

I get to listen to the bitches and rants about Coca Cola's "I'd like to teach the world to sing...America The Beautiful in many languages..." I thought it was sweet, but there is a heapin' helpin' of rednecks here that swear they are done with Coke. No Coke, Jussss Pepsi...
I loved Coke Zero then, I love Coke Zero now. Pepsi is GRODY!!!!

You covered it, G. I never mind watching a good republican burn in his own flames, but even I feel that the man is no longer relevant to anything. AFA the Super Bowl, I actually enjoyed it,(since I have hated Denver since Elway used to beat the Raiders) but as always it was WAY overhyped. The only thing you didn't cover is the looming debt ceiling melodrama--GARRRGGGHHG...*runs screaming from the room*
