Venting Monday......

Last Night The Emmy Award Show posthumously honored two TV stars that
passed away this past season, James Gandolfini and Cory Montieth.
Tony Who? Cory WHO?????
And one of THE most Iconic TV stars of all time wasn't even an after-thought?
Larry Hagman as Major Tony Nelson on I Dream of Jeannie and of course
JR Ewing on Dallas. What an unforgivable oversight!!!
How could the writers and producers be so stupid?
I'm non-plussed!!!!!!

yeah, while the death of the glee cast member was tragic..it was a bit odd the ones they could have recognized...

They need to include all...and Larry Hagman had such a long television career it's a true head scratcher.

OK ... James Dean was around for a short time - but he was more well known - many people did not know Cory. I totally agree though... Larry Hagman & Jack Klugman - ANNETTE FUNICELLO (don't forget) are legends. They tried something new - and it backfired. And lets not give them any time to speak when presented the award... just a strange evening - I watched like five minutes. ( Tony awards are so much better :)

Haven't watched this in decades--no surprise they are clueless, though. I didn't even know the shows that won, let alone ever watch them, which shows how out of the loop I am, and how irrelevant and unnecessary they are. ;_).

Well, that doesn't make a lot of sense.
