Friday Flash 55.....

Reminiscent of a scene from "Cheers",
The doomed 50 raised a glass and in unison
shouted 'LEE'.....

HONOLULU(AP) Lee Soucy after surviving the
attack on Pearl Harbor, finally reunited with
his shipmates...70 years later!!
Tuesday, divers placed his ashes through a
port-hole of the sunken USS Utah, where 50 sailors
are forever entombed.

A date that will live in Infamy....
There were only two Battleships that couldn't be raised
and recommishioned...The USS Arizona, and The USS Utah
If you or anyone you know has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment...Then BOOK!!!
So from the oldest host from coast to coast
Have a Kick Ass Week-End

Fewer and fewer around who physically were there that day, yet I have a feeling it's not going to be forgotten, nor the men who are now reunited in the Utah. Great 55, Galen.

I have a much more silly and frivolous topic tonight--and don't blame me, blame the dreams:

Night at the Opera

I hate to think of them in their watery graves, but I totally understand Mr. Soucy's desire to be reunited with his shipmates. Awesome 55, G.

Awe. This is very sentimental. I knew you had it in you (I mean, you've had a few scary ones lately ;)

I have one that I did early on in the week (Monday the 5th, in fact) But I need HELP from the 55ers. I lost my direct link code! I never memorized it and accidentally erased it. So if you would be someone would be so kind to email me or "comment" the code to me I'd be grateful.

Cusor down to Dec. 5th as I was ALREADY thinking of my Friday 55 (Do I get brownie points for that?)

or copy and paste the following to your url (is that what it is called? It IS amazing that I bumble my way about this computer stuff...

They did that? Nice Tribute, G-Man. Those cold ones sure look good. I'll raise a glass to Lee. I'll raise one to all 50. I'll raise one to my Dad while I'm at it, hobbled and arthritic but still with us. I'll raise a glass...

When I saw "Pearl Harbor" Ben Affleck version, I started writing a song with the lyric "inside the Arizona." What a time, and devastation.

Nice 55 G-Man.

It must be kept in mind that quality of service depends upon the quality of employers which are likely to receive your Resume for their jobs. How good a distribution service is to provide you a list of good employers where you actually want to send your Resume in. Therefore, it is also advisable to keep the shape of Resume at its best and updated so that it could be optimally utilized by the distribution service. By not getting enough success with a posing service for a CV which is substandard, it would marginally make a differences from market response as the same Resume is now available to large part of audience but quality is still a question. I have to admit that this job is like working in a sweatshop where they treat you on a level of respect somewhere between a convict and an idiot. However, if you are good at talking on the phone, you can make some decent money in customer service call centers. I was hired on the spot at a national call center and started paid training the next day. The training paid $10 per hour, and after you get on the phones, you can make up to $17 per hour depending on your production rate. You typically get all the benefits of a large employer including medical, 401K, vacation, and holidays. Now, there are some companies that will let you do customer service from home. You might have to invest around $300 of your own money to get set up with your own equipment and corporation, but it might be worth it if you have children and need to have a flexible work schedule. They can also let you know the qualities that you need to develop to achieve your future career goals, including overcoming simple obstacles that may be holding you back so that you can achieve the career you desire.
