Probably TMI For All But The Loyal Blue...
This coming Saturday I'll be attending my 40th
straight Michigan Home Football Opener.
I'm sure it will bore the Bejesus out of most of you,
but fair warning, this week there will be a recurring theme!
"Tradition is something you can't bottle. You can't buy it
at the corner store. But it is there to sustain you when you
need it most. I've called upon it time and time again, and so
have other Michigan athletes and coaches. There is nothing
like it...I hope it never dies."
(Fritz Crisler...Michigan Football Coach from 1938-1947.
Responsible for introducing 'The Winged Helmet' in 1938)
"For when the One Great Scorer comes
To write against your name
He writes NOT that you won or lost...
But how you played the game!"
(Grantland Rice...Alumnus Football)
(Ole '98' Tom Harmon, Michigan's 1st Heisman Trophy Winner)
Much More Sappy stuff coming to you this week..hehehehe

Go Red Sox! Oh, yeah, and Pats and Bruins and Celtics.
Doncha just love Freedom of Speech?
Ah, the start of football season. Brings a tear to the eye of many a red-blooded male, doesn't it?
There's a lot to be said for tradition. A comfort and joy in being a loyal part of things. I totally get it.
Well... I love sappy. Bring it on!
Sorry, I don't follow golf.
I have no idea....we don't get that here.....sounds awesome. LOVE the photos:)
Traditions like that are awesome. I know you're anticipating a fine time, Galen. I confess I don't follow football...yeah, our friendship ends now, I know ;)
