Re the tears--other than those obviously caused by living with men, I think it's all that fake sugar we eat and food we give up to pretend we're super models. You'd cry too buddy.

A lot between the lines here; this, ably, shows - up to a point - the protagonist's outlook (or how I imagine his? outlook would be).
G-Man writes haiku! Bravo. And so well. of course, I'm not accepting that "for no reason" line. you are way too sensitive for that!
