The top two radios are from the 60's.
The Orange radio's straw, is the antennae. It,s AM/FM!!
The second pic is a bicycle radio, it bolted to the handle bars. I do not still have the bracket. It's just AM
The car radio still works. It's from the 70's.
The last two pics are of a Solar/Crank radio from The Sharper Image. It was made in South Africa, where in the out-back batteries were scarce, but sunlight is in abundance. A 60 second crank, gives you about 35 minutes of playing time after the Sun goes down. It's from about 1988...
OF COURSE they all still sound GREAT!!!
An Orange Retro Wednesday?
Wow, that's really orange. What I want to know is, is it possible to open a closet door at your house without all this stuff tumbling out and clobbering you?:)
How cool those are. And to think they still work. If only my body worked as well as they do. LOL
I used to have the Orange! I knew it was a radio immediately. So cool!

You do time travel better than anyone! You never fail to awaken a forgotten memory in me...
I love that first one!
Your first picture made me think of Tang and now I want some.

Those radios would not hold still to have their picture taken!
boy your radio collection alone is fairly extensive isn't it?
