"Hi Jenn, I just wanted you to know I went to see Galen after his surgery yesterday. His spirits are good and though he is uncomfortable the pain meds should help get him through the postop process. He may have to have further surgical “tune-ups”. Galen is lucky to have such a good support system here at the home front and especially his blogger friends. We promise to do all we can for him. He doesn’t have any access to computer, iPhone, even a telephone in his room at this point. I promise to get his communication tools to him as soon as possible!
