Rear-Ended........But, I'm OK!!!

About a month ago, I needed to have some scrips renewed, and I had some bloodwork done. This last Friday I had more bloodwork to see if my meds was working properly. So today I had my yearly physical, and the doctor went over the results with me..
Hemoglobin A1C came down..
I lost 1 1/2 pounds
My triglicerides came down 60 points
My cholesterol dropped 40 points
My PSA's were perfect
Thyroid perfect
EKG..Perfect!
Blood-Pressure 128/78....

PROSTATE....YEEEOOOOOW!!!!...Perfect!!!

I Love Spring.....

Hi everybody...
I hope you all had a great week-end.
I had to work Saturday, so Sunday was my only day off.
That gave me time to clean and dust..
Mow the lawn...
Go get a Tim Horton's coffee..
Prepare Brunch (BLT's )..
And while my son treated my wife to the New Star Trek movie..
Marinate chicken and ribs for a late afternoon dinner for about 8 people..
I decided not to put a wet sauce on the grilled meat, and it went just great with my 'Killer' Gargozola/Pecan/Romaine/Red Onion/Roma Tomato/Raspberry Vinaigrette dinner salad, and I also made Curry/Marsala Jasmine rice!!
Topped off with a cold refreshing Molson Canadian...
What could be better?

Friday Flash 55 ....Redux

Tonight I'm reposting a 55 from December of 07.
Some of you may remember that my friend Ned, died at age 54 of a stroke. We were lifelong friends and college fraternity brothers. The one year anniversary of his memorial was last week, and at that service I was asked to ride Ned's Harley in the procession. His favorite niece Carry wanted to ride on Uncle Nedly's bike one last time, and it was one of the Great Honors of my life to do this for his family, and my friend. Ned's sister E-Mailed this pic yesterday, and I felt I needed to post this 55 one more time......To Ned.

We thought that we were immortal

But the years catch up to you

Based on the 1968 Camaro,( top pic )this baby stickers out at $35,000!

The V-6 Model starts at about $25,000.

It may be a tad late to save GM completely, but we're giving it a shot!

I had a fellow blogger tell me a few weeks back, that Blogging and Posting are becoming obsolete. Twitter and FaceBook are now whats happenin'. I claimed that there is not a whole lot of creativity in just Twittering. I was then told that taking pics of my junk..er Treasures, isn't really all that creative either. Well that may be so, but I put a lot of effort into making Friday's fun and creative around here. And more than one recipe' has been shared on Posts. I find that much more fun and gratifying than hearing about shit on Twitter..."Oh, I just took a shower"!! or "I hate Wednesday TV"! or "I'm so bored and hungry"..Boo Fucking Hoo!!!!
Any thoughts?
