Sorry folks, I had The Day From Hell!!!!

4 of the last 5 deals that I sold couldn't get

financing even though one lady had a 720

credit score!!! This tightening of the belt may

be needed, but it's KILLIN me!!!

My work PC. took a shit today, so I'm marooned

in Cyberspace without a Mouse!

I have a deal pending on a 56 Grand Dura-Max Diesel,

only one problem, It's at another dealership and I

have to talk that store into trading it to me.....

Grrrrrr.... It's Always Something!!

I need a Drink, and I need a laugh, see ya tomorrow...

Every year we collect toys for the U.S. Marines

Great Holiday tradition of Toys for Tots!

They will be collecting next week, and the old tree

is starting to accumilate some wonderful things.

With the snow, and the cold, and the music, and the traffic,

and the hustle and bustle...It's beginning to look a lot like

Christmas. Am I forgetting anything else?

Teeth-Chattering Tuesday....

Over the week-end it snowed about 8 inches.

Today we reached a high of about 7!!

Wind chill of about -8...

Of course we had to broom the FROZEN snow

off of the 400 or more cars that we have in stock.

Most of the sales crew spent about 8 hours outside.

I'm tired...I ache...And I'm STILL colder than a......

Well....You know.

Pennsylvania Class, "Super-Dreadnaught" as she was called...

Launched in 1915, named in honor of our 48th State.

The U.S.S. Arizona was the pride of the fleet!

Although a relic of "The Great War" that ended 23 years earlier,

Her 12 14inch guns could hurl death for more than 20 miles!

But she was still imposing, still powerful...Still deadly.

As she lay sleeping and moored quietly in beautiful Pearl Harbor

on the morning of December 7, 1941. She was rudely awakened

by more than 800 Japanese war planes bent on destruction.

HELL, WAS ON THE WING!!!!!

An armor piercing bomb landed between the number 3 and 4 turrets,

igniting the black powder magazines. This set off a chain reaction of horror

that sent 1177 of 1400 brave crew members to their watery grave.

The Arizona could not be salvaged, but it's remaining undamaged guns

were removed and re-used to fight another day.

After the war, a memorial was built to honor the sunken giant.

But She STILL Bleeds...

With each sunrise since that horrible 'Day of Infamy', more than a quart of

oil a day still finds it's way to the surface. Drip Drip Drip, staining

the pristine surface with it's rainbow discoloration.....
