Not that I watch a lot of network TV anyway,
but because most everything is Summer reruns,
I find myself watching more and more Cable.
By far my two favorites are Tuesday's Rizzoli and Isles,
and Dallas on Wednesday.
Due to the expert reading tip from the beautiful Serena Joy,
I've become a huge Tess Gerritson fan, and the TV series is
loosly based on characters that she created.
Dallas is absolutely KICK ASS!!!!!
Great drama...Great twists...Great scams...and JR Ewing!!!!!
Even with a borrowed Kidney and reaching 80, Larry Hagman
expertly plays THE most unscrupulous villain in TV history....
I Love It.....!!!
I rode my Hog to work on Saturday, my buttocks faired well and it felt
Sooooooo Goooooood!!!!!

After Three Months It's...BTW!!!

This week-end Reese and I visited My nephew Kurt in

the northeren Michigan town of Oscoda. It's the location

of the former Wurtzsmith USAFB. The base is mostly rented

to a wealthy businessman named Konnie Kalitta who owns an

'international air cargo transportation company called Kalitta Air.

For the most part Konnie buys up used 747's from around the world,

he then refurbishes them into air cargo transports. The huge facility

is also a place where privately owned jets can get emergency repairs.

My nephew works as a sheet metal repairman there and on Saturday

he got me and Reese admitted.

The huge DC-10 that they are standing in front of, recently has been

in Colorado, where it has been fighting the wild forrest fires. The tank

on the bottom of the huge jet holds 12,000 gallons of water and a chemical

fire retardent additive. The disassembled 747 in the one shot has been

scavenged so that other jets may continue flying....

The big white 757 is owned by a religious group. It has 2 stories, three

baths, a full kitchen, and a dining room.....No Comment!!

I haven't worked since April due to my...."Condition"

Tomorrow, I'm Back To Work...Galen Haynes:Biker Businessman!!!

BTW...Friday Flash 55 was a Glorious success.

The Club was ROCKIN!!
The speakers were blaring The Ramones, and Buddy Holly.
There was a burly doorman checking ID's. Some folks were
admitted, some were turned away. Some, like myself, just seemed
to be standing around waiting to be waived in.....

Thursday Portrait.....

Last weekend, my life long fishing partner and frat brother Jim Shephard,

invited me to his boat on Saginaw Bay to do a little Walleye Fishing. It's a

good thing we went out Friday morning, because the rest of the week end

was choppy with 2-4 ft waves. In about 4 hours we caught 7 keeper Walleyes

(Sander Vitreus), and 3 Channel Cats (Ictalurus Punctatus).

Thats Me (Necrotizing Fasciitus), holding up 2 of the Cats. The smallest of the

3 weighed.....5.5 #'s

5.5...........? Is that some sort of Divine Omen?
