My spouse is also rather bitter about the Blacklist. And is it just me, or what, but when did the Olympics become a reality TV show? There's more shmioozing with the athletes, the athlete's wives, second cousins and has-been trainers than there is event time. I watch it for the figure skating, but it is really difficult to follow jumping all over the place and so commercialized that you can't tell when it's the show and when it's the commercial with the sound off!

Not that I'm grumpy, either. Heavens, no.

Ha, Galen....well there are some stories that really tug at my heart. The silver medal winner who is going to bring a mother dog and her pups home to Colorado...the sister who qualified but gave the chance to her sister. I am not watching religiously, but I do think there is some moving stuff. And think about it, when the Olympics are over, we have the Oscars!! One good TV event after another.

I don't have television service, so I couldn't watch it even if I wanted to. I must admit that I do enjoy figure skating. Maybe because I sometimes vicariously pretend that I have even a modicum of dexterity and agility and in another incarnation could be that graceful! Instead, I lumber onto the ice like someone put skates on a manatee, and immediately fall on my ass.

Not a hockey fan? I thought everyone in MI loved hockey. I enjoyed the ice dancing.
