Friday Flash 55.....

...............................YOUR DAILY HOROSCOPE..............................

You are not feeling your best today. But that's OK, prunes are on sale.
Your Lucky Number is 2.
Refrain from Popcorn, Peanuts, and Gerbils.
Avoid travelling to maximum security prisons....And Greece.
Don't go off half-cocked flying by the seat of your pants.
And remember to always....Cover Your Ass!

Sorry, I get this same puckering feeling every year about Tax Time!!!
If you or anyone you know is puckered or has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment.....Then BOOK!
So from the  most Taxing Host from coast to coast
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!!!
(Don't kick TOO hard)

With the amount we pay in taxes, we should get to vote at least 10 times! Don't get me started...

Horoscopes crack me up. As if 1/12 of the world's population should all refrain from travel or gerbils or whatever on the same day! Oh, and they'll all fall in love with a good-looking stranger, too.

Hm...maybe I should go check my horoscope!

The first line cracked me totally up. And then you really *rammed* the rest of your wisdom down my throat, till I felt quite sheepish. I've gotten so poor I don't have to pay taxes anymore, but I still have to file. Go figure.

I'm finally playin, with some morbid romance:

Stay

Yuck! Taxes. Nice one.
You'll find mine here.

Aw, G, you penned a love poem to the IRS. How sweet. You probably wish you could ram your return somewhere other than an envelope!

Do not be angry with me. I posted a poem early Thursday morning— unattached to any prompts— but just linked it to dVerse because it fits the prompt that was published there afterward. Since I was altering the title and linking to their prompt I got curious and ran it through word count. The damn thing is 57 words!!!
So close! Nearly The Unfathomable...

I stay silent on the subject of taxes - I used to help collect them! But I don't mind speaking up about other things HERE

I look at it this way: It's what we pay for the privilege of living in an organized society. It's the patriotic thing to do. To add to your list, cover your head and watch for falling objects: Faith or Reason

You crack me up....which is more than I can say for the IRS. (Um, they don't have a direct line to you, do they?)

Mine's up. Happy weekend!

IRS be damned... and I don't subscribe to horoscopes. I'm a Pisces and we're not superstitious.

Here's mine this week: Heartstrings
