Thursday Portrait.....

I'm sure we all have our favorite Diners, Cafe's, or Burger Joint. I sure Do!
On my days off I just love going out for Breakfast at Telly's Coney Island.
This place is always hopping Morning/Noon/Night. The star of the show, and
what really keeps me coming back, is the Breakfast Special. From 7-11 AM
you can get TWO Eggs any style, American Fries or Grits, choice of Toast, and
your choice of Ham, Bacon, Sausage Patties or Links, for $2.99!!!!
I work this Saturday, so I had today off. So it was poached eggs, whole wheat toast,
grits and ham. What a way to start the day!!! With an endless cup of Java at 1.25,
with tax it comes to $4.55!!!!!!  Yeah, 4.55 hehehehe
Tell me about YOUR favorite hang out.....
And don't forget to stop by Thursday 8:00 PM EST, for Friday Flash 55.

I like a similar place in Berkley. They have the best Philly sandwich evah. You can't really pick it up, it's too sloppy and piping hot, but that's why Goddess made forks and knives!

what a bargain! i found a cheap little place like that in seattle thanks to susie. i don't really have a place around here but where we used to live there was a great little hole in the wall with a super breakfast deal.

Lately, it has been the barn. I do love my horse :) But, hmm. For breakfast it used to be "The Original Pancake House" in the Village at Bay Harbor, Michigan (NOT the one in Petoskey) There Eggs Benedict http://www.villageatbayharbor.com/business/OPH

So worth a visit if you ever "drive by". But not quite the bargain as yours! :) And I DO love poached eggs done right ... and those look good!

Mmmm--well, except for the grits. We've got a place here called Jimmy's Egg, not as cheap, but I love their Wisconsin cheese omelet, which has american, swiss, cheddar, jack and cream cheese in it, and their banana pecan pancakes. Needless to say, I can't eat there often or I'd be unable to fit in the pickup.(And it's a king cab)

My 55 opus will post at the usual time, G--I will be not around till tomorrow though.
