PAIN....Comes in degrees!
For Starters...
Ya got your Sliver in Finger.
Ya got your Toothache.
Ya got your Sunburn.
You then progress to...
Migraines.
Getting your eyeball plucked out by a deranged Ninja.
Finally, the ultimate...
Childbirth.
Passing a Kidney Stone.
Being attacked by a deadly Flesh-Eating infection.
I've had two outta three!!!!!
Do Not Panic! This is only a test!
Had this been a Real Flash Friday 55.
You would have been instructed well before now to turn to
640..or 1240...Or Mr. Knowitall's blog spot.
You may now resume your regular blogging agenda....
THIS IS ONLY A TEST!!!!
BTW...Have a Kick Ass Week-End!

Yahtzee!!!!
i'm just glad you lived to tell the tale! but really, you should have opted for giving birth. then you'd be rich and famous too!

You're such a tease.
looking forward to your return pops...and hope your pain is diminishing...
does family jewels banded mean what i think it means?
You have to suffer if you want to be an artist, big guy--(now somewhat downsized guy) Or beautiful--so think how much more you have to suffer to be a beautiful artist. What's that?--you'd rather be a moderately attractive car salesman? Hey--you don't get to pick. ;_) Hope the path to sitting down for extended periods continues smooth.
(Luckily that didn't have to a 55 word comment, as I was three over.)
Miss you, G. i'm taking this as a sign you're getting better.
I had a migraine last week, and it was indeed similar to getting my eyeball plucked out by a deranged ninja.
For 16 hours straight.
Glad to hear you're starting to feel better. Keep healing!
I checked to see if Hallmark makes cards for Necrotizing Fasciitus, but sadly they were too busy messing around with birthdays and Fathers' Day and crap like that.
Have a good weekend. :)
Oh dear! Hope a baby doesn't turn up!
So glad to have you back. k.
It´s so great to see you´re alive and kicking! :-) I´m sharpening all my pens for the next 55 coming up. Have a wonderful weekend, G-man! :-)
This looks pretty close to 55 to me. Glad the heeling is still going well. Sorry for the pain.
Well I've given birth twice and if your flesh eating bug was worse than that I really feel for you G. Good to see you're recovering. Looking forward to when you say 'GO' on the 55s. Have a great weekend m'deario. xx
Wow. . . You've been thru childbirth?!? I've coached my wife through it a couple times ('course, by the time she let me do it, she really didn't need a coach anymore; she just wanted me to feel involved. . .)
Glad to see you back in action, G-Man!
I second Eric. Go Galen, you spunky man!
(So, if you strikethrough the word 'ass' like I did on Word this is actually 55 words!)
This is only a test-
but I forgot to study!
Still, I’ll do my best
To watch your (ass) back, Buddy.
I don’t mean to give you too much flack,
But everyone wants Mr. Knowitall back!
We miss the 55 criteria,
So here’s some advice for free:
When talking to bacteria
Just don’t exclaim, ‘Eat me!’
:o)
You, sir, were very much missed! Thanks for the update, and welcome back, even if you're not in full swing. Test or not, I wrote one anyway. Fishing.
Hey, we MISS you, G-Man! Keep on getting better, healing up and being the tough guy that you are.
I'm really, really glad to see a teaser post from you. It's a sign that you are gonna make it (for sure).
Only test I could pass this week, I'm sure. )
Glad you're feeling better...we missed you.
Getting itchy 55 fingers now aren't you!~!
You just stay away until you really ARE good and ready to lift you leg and kick some ass without making the pain in your own ten times worse.
Sooooo good to see ya!~! :)
Oh, you clever G-Man, you. Keep on feeling better each day. :)
I've got one to add to the ultimate list but it's rather gruesome so I'll skip it. :-)
So glad to see you back, Galen. I miissed you. I hope you're feeling more like your irascible own self every day.
(Oh, and I've had two out of three too.)
Awesome, this test run. ...and applause, applause for the Other Mary and Hedgewitch - they have warmed up nicely. I'm rusty and summer is exhausting me - too many kid-related activities! :) I've had six child births, but I think what you went through was more painful. Keep healing!
