Paging Peter Piper........

Don't ya just LOVE this time of year?
All week long I've had a hankerin for some stuffed peppers.
Friday night I went to Krogers, and got some great looking beef ribs.
They also had ground chuck on sale.
But their peppers were so disgustingly high (3 for 5 bucks), that I decided to go to the Flint City Mkt. before I left for the football game Saturday.
I'm so glad I did! I bought a whole PECK of Peppers (NO..They weren't pickled), for 4bucks!!! Not only that, Uncle Pete, who lives across the street, gave me about a dozen sweet peppers that he grew.
So I cooked some Jasmine rice, threw in some onions, curry, fresh cumin, some garam marsala, some ground chuck that I had scrambled, and filled the peppers with that mixture. I laid the beef ribs on the bottom of my roaster, sprinkled them with some Himalayan Sea salt that cost me 3 bucks an ounce! Put the peppers on the ribs, covered and cooked at 325 for about 2 hours.....Pretty Tasty!!!
Not only that, I love the smell of cooking peppers in the house. It reminds me of how my Grandmother's house smelled on canning week-end when she made homemade chile sauce.
I guess I'll pack a pepper lunch, and go to work...
Have a Great Week...
Peace...!!!

I love the stuffing, but peppers don't like me anymore. I'd underline this, but that would just be copying you.

Good heavens, if I ate a peck of peppers, I'd need three pecks of antacids. LOL. I know YOU love it, though. I don't know how you got those underlines. Strange!:)
