I've shown old radios before, but this is my Baby!
The German Co. Telefunken started in 1903.
This is one of the very first FM Stereo Receivers, it dates to the Mid-Fifties, I bought it from my late Father-In-Law in the eighties.
It is in PRISTINE condition, and it works just fine!
It is solid wood NOT a veneer, and has a short wave band as well.

Wow, that is some radio, a real collector's item. Do you still play it occasionally? Hang onto it!
wow, do you think any radio or iPod made today will still be functioning 106 years in the future? i rather doubt it.

FM didn't really catch on around here until about 1970..LAV-FM was the station to listen to- Played whatever they wanted! Those days are gone...

My step-grandfather used to have a big, ole beauty in his room...I mean radio of course, not my grandmother! :D I was always fascinated by the short wave part...I am also a radio collector. I even once owned a victrola, but stupidly gave it away... :( Love lookin at your stuff!!
