..."ONE THAT WON'T MAKE ME SICK.
ONE THAT WON'T MAKE ME CRASH MY CAR,
OR MAKE ME FEEL 3 FEET THICK"!
Is a 25 year old 'Concert-T' retro enough?
In 1984 Huey was asked to do the soundtrack for the movie "Ghost-Busters". He declined, but Ray Parker Jr. did pen the score. And in 1985, Huey promptly sued Ray because the melody to "Ghost-Busters" sounded way too much like "I Want a New Drug"!!!
It obviously was plagiarized because the case was settled out of court....
..."ONE THAT WON'T HURT MY HEAD.
ONE THAT WON'T MAKE MY MOUTH TOO DRY,
OR MAKE MY EYES TOO RED"!
Peace...!!!

Interesting. I think I remember hearing something about that once upon a time. But geez, Galen, a 25-year-old tee-shirt? LOL.:)
Funny, I know both songs and I don't see or hear any similarities between the two.
Then again - I guess I must have a tin ear.
Anyone invent that drug yet?
right, and this drug is called......
yeah i think i want a new drug too right about now.
I heard that song not too long ago by Huey Lewis. I have some old concert shirts as well but they aren't in as good condition as yours.
Thanks for sharing all your treasures with us Galen and have a beautiful day!
HUGS!
I want many new drugs that might help my BIL...
Those were the days ...
*huggles ya all up*

I never knew that about the lawsuit. I loved (I know, cheesy) Ghost Busters, and I LOVELOVELOVE Huey Lewis and the News. There is always a new drug, but never the one Huey sang about.
Huey supposedly has quite the schlong.
shlong.
How do you spell schlong?
Two PBR cans. One stacked on top of the other.
GREAT shirt, G-ster.
xoxo
I'm wearing briefs 25 years old.
