The Jambalaya was very tasty...I honed it down a bit for the wussies, I figured that they can add their own heat. You may be able to see some of my hot sauce stash that I broke out for the occassion.
.
The corn bread is something that I've NOT talked about yet.
Follow the directions for making a 9 by 13 pan, but in lieu of 1/2 the liquid, dump a can of Creamed Corn in the batch, add a pound of scrambled Hot sausage, and dump a cup of shredded Cheddar in the mix. Bake as directed, and dump a cup of shredded Cheddar on top for the last 5 minutes...OH BABY!!!!!
.
Voila...Muffulette's...Jambalaya...Spicy Sausage Corn Bread...Rolaids!!!
.
Do I treat My Peeps good or what????
Peace...!

You treat your peeps VERY good. You're a real prince for making the wussie Jambalaya. When I ate it in NO, I practically self-combusted. Took a whole lot of Rolaids to put that fire out. God, that cornbread sounds good!
xox
SERENA!!!!!
Please take no offense to the term wussie.
Some folks are just more delicate...hehehehe
The Corn Bread was a big hit...Thanks....G

ewww!
that's just wrong...
where's the beef,
buckaroo?
oooooh that cornbread sounds utterly sinful and delicious!
It all sounds wonderful. If it were early enough I might do well with the spice but my stomach turn wussie in the evening. I just know the Jambalaya would have been awesome. Gee, even I could do the corn bread. Maybe after lent is over...
Never tried corn-bread, it sounds superb.
Damn you, G! Can't a girl get a little blogger without all the calories? I just gained 5 pounds reading this stuff.
I think I need a cold shower now.

OMG I cannot believe all this yummy food! I have never had a mufelatta but I'd sure like to try.
You even make your own olive salad? I am so impressed. G~man, maybe you ought to become a caterer.
BTW We simply do NOT eat like this in Northern California. You would die of starvation here, eating only salad and lean meats! LOL
Gman do you wanna be the official 55 guy? I can hand you down the honor...or we can just make it an official partnership....
I have been a very bad blogger, although I DO go to every 55er and HNTer that visits my blog...just takes me a few days...
The hump is just beginning, hopefully it will be a good one.
Alive and Cooking, I see! :-D
I'll take a beer with my please! LOL
No jambalaya for me....but everything else looks scrumpdillyicious!
xo
What a way to mix up the mix. Even though I'm southern, I'm not much of one for cornbread, but that one I'd have to give a try.
Galen???
Bitten by Food Bug?
