"I'm The Boss! ..I Need The Info"....

Everyone having a great week-end?...Good!...The outrageously talented, crimson haired, and always lovely Serena Joy, gave me a grand idea for a lazy....er, interactive post on a quiet Afternoon in Bloggerville...She posted that she wanted some personal poetry from her fans..
I'm thinkin Movie Lines!!
Yes Movie Lines...If you are anything like me, do you find yourself spewing out famous lines without even thinking? I thought so!..This is not hard, and it could be fun AND nostalgic..And we all know how nostalgic the G-Man is don't we? So this is neither a quiz or a contest, it's just your favorite line or lines. Now the ones that I'm going to list are so easy and obvious, that I'm not even going to name the movie that they are from, OK?...But If Strumpet decides to play, I would appreciate a little hint about which movie it is gleaned from..I'm sure it will be from......
Cinema Obscura!!

" I know what you're thinkin, did he fire 5 shots, or did he fire 6"?.......

" Go ahead....Make my day"!

" Every man has GOT, to know his limitations".

" Scarlet....You need to be kissed, and kissed often, by someone that knows how"!

" What we have here, is a failure to communicate".

" I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse".

" BLUE!!! Your my boy"!!!.....( Old School )

" You shot me you A-Hole"!

" Excuse me, but I don't speak Freaky Deaky Dutch".

"...........But we'll always have Paris".

All righty then....( see even thats from a movie ).... Lets play..... Thanks Serena for this great post idea, I'm sure it will be a big hit...Hehehehe.... Peace!

Oh, what fun! I had a blast with the Mutilated Poetard Limericks today. Yours was, of course, tops.:)

#1, 2, & 3 -- All Dirty Harry?

#4 -- Gone With The Wind

#5 - Cool Hand Luke

#8 - Casablanca

The others escape me. Don't forget, my brain is sore.:-)

Great idea, my dear, and great fun!

Oops, I forgot I was supposed to leave a line. Let me think about it.

snowelf said...

Pretty much anything from Casablanca is my favorite.
But here are some others:

"Stop looking at me Swan!"

"Damn, Negro, that's all you hadda say!"

"You're killing me, Smalls!"

"I hear my mom, I gotta go to bed. I hear my mom, I gotta go to bed..."

Daniel: Well, because I thought it would be something worse.
Sam: [incredulous] Worse than the total agony of being in love?
Daniel: Oh. No, you're right. Yeah, total agony.

"Guess what? I gotta pee."

George:"I didn't want you to like me, I wanted you to love me!
Sam: "Well, congratulations! Cause you fucking pulled it off!!"

"Everybody loves me. And I intend to keep it that way."

good night,

'I wish I had you all alone...
Just the two of us...'

Not as obscure as one would think.

But, totally and completely Strumpet.

And from the same flick...

'I hate a guy with a car and no sense of humour.'

But, from others...

"It's the one that says, 'Bad Motherfucker!'"

'Okey dokey doggie daddy.'

'I just don't get off on funerals, man, they give me the creeps.'

(NOT the guy for me, mind you.)

'I'll shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle.'

That's MY favourite quote from that flick.

Because with proper lubrication, (Signgurl?) and a little love that could be fun!

And then the very NOT Cinema Obscura...

'You'll believe in more than that before I'm finished with you.'

Cha Cha said...

Ha!

IF Strumpet decides to play...

Mwahahahahaahahahaha...

Charles said...

"It's alive! It's alive!"

"You played it for her, you can play it for me."

"I'm your father, Luke."

"Attica! Attica! Attica!"

"They're out there."

Snow White said...

I am so very bad at movie lines, especially for someone who loves movies as much as I do! But I can butcher a couple in order to play!

"You complete me."

"Failure is NOT an option."

"My name is Andrew Sheppard and I AM the president."

"I love lamp."

"She rescues him right back."

Okay, time for me to be "on the road again!" xoxoxox

G-Man said...

SnowElf....?
These are your favorite movies?
Well, I'm glad you liked them, but they are hardly Film Classics...
Billy Madison?
Hahaha...Thanks for playing!!
xoxoxox

STRUMPET!!!
See what I mean?
And you gave me no clues!!
Although I must admit, that Signgurl Lubeing up a Bat in "Warriors", would have been very hot indeed.....

'Warriors....Warriors'..

Yes Strumpet...
Playa Extraordinaire!!!
Thanks sweetie..xoxox

Charles...
Thanks for not delving into the abyss....
But your favorites, are your favorites..
Thanks for playing
You have Frankenstein, how about Dracula;
"I never drink....wine"

Di...?
Other than the Mini-Me quote....I'm lost!!
Hurry home ..xoxox

Charles said...

I loved the book Dracula, but the movies just weren't close enough for me. They don't impress me. Even Frankenstein wasn't that close, but Shelly did different versions, so I can excuse some of it, except for the fact that the "monster" never smartened up like the stories.

G-Man said...

WTF...?
You mean the Monster never said...
"Fire...Baaaaad"
Or
"Smoke...Gooooood"

javajazz said...

make my day, baby....

G-Man said...

Lisa....?
Is that a movie line, or a request?
xoxoxox

snowelf said...

Oh, God no. They aren't my favorite movies of all time, they are just quotes I like. Most of them just have sentimental value.

Charles quoted my favorite movie too! ;)

And I know ALL of Snow's too.
Nah nah nah nah! :P

I always laugh at this one - and I tend to use it in awkward moments:

"We gotta get a bigger boat."

An easy one:

"Where does he get all those wonderful toys?"

I hope I have this one right:

"It is not a half-baked idea. It's a fully baked idea!"

SignGurl said...

"Come on in, and try not to ruin everything by being you."

"I crap bigger than you!"

"You are in more dire need of a blowjob than any white man in history."

(Del): You play with your balls a lot.
(Neal Page): I do NOT play with my balls.
(Del): Larry Bird doesn't do as much ball-handling in one night as you do in an hour!
(Neal): Are you trying to start a fight?
(Del): No. I'm simply stating a fact. That's all. You fidget with your nuts a lot.
(Neal): You know what'd make me happy?
(Del): Another couple of balls, and an extra set of fingers?

"The more you drive, the less intelligent you are."

"I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees."

"The Silent Movie"
And it was spoken by Marcel Marceau, who never spoke...

All right Galen ...

This could occupy me for hours ... so I will use some self-control and give you the following. I will provide the first letter of the movie from which I pilfered the quotes (though none are too obscure):

from B_____:
Most people ignore the strange and unusual. I myself am strange and unusual.

We've come for your daughter Chuck

from The P_____:
Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father prepare to die.

from S_____:
(As she throws a Bible at another character): I am FILLED with Christ's love! You are just jealous of my success in the Lord.

from S_____:
Let me tell you something my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane.

from S_____:
Story of my life. I always get the fuzzy end of the lollipop.

You tore off one of my chests!

from H_____:
Lick it up, baby. Lick. It. Up.

You were nothing before you met me. You were playing Barbies with Betty Finn. You were a Bluebird. You were a Brownie. You were a Girl Scout Cookie.

My son's a homosexual, and I love him. I love my dead gay son.

And, even though snowelf already said this one:
from The S_____:
"You're killing me Smalls."

S said...
