Turkey Fun Facts

The turkey is actually a pheasant...The Native American name for turkey is 'firkee'...hence turkey...More than 45 million turkeys are cooked and eaten over Thanksgiving, roughly 1/6th of the yearly consumption...Age determines the taste of a turkey, old males are preferable in taste to young toms which have stringy meat. But as in humans, the young female turkey taste much better- old hens are tough birds...Turkeys are the only poultry native to the Western Hemisphere....Turkeys have great hearing, but have no external ears...Turkeys can see in color...However turkeys have a poor sense of smell, which could explain why some turkeys have been known to mate with both skunks and wolverines...Domestic turkeys cannot fly, however wild turkeys can fly to speeds exceeding 55mph, and run on the ground up to 25mph....Turkeys can have heart attacks..... Some turkeys have been known to sport a 16in. penis, consequently some turkeys have been known to contract syphilus....Be careful what you eat, and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING...

I guess it's GOOD thing I ain't eatin' no turkey this year!

However...

...if you think for one second I'm not going to be tasting just as scrumptious in my wisened years as I currently do...you're SADLY mistaken.

How dare you compare the human female to a turkey!

We're much more like a fine-aged wine as we mature.
