Where You Been Boy?

Hi Everybody.....!!!!!

What a month it's been since my last post. In all my years of blogging, this has been
my longest hiatus yet. First of all seeing my daughter and son-in-law for 10 days
was GREAT!!! We had lots of fun and storytelling and enjoying special craft beer.
Then my best friend Alex's wife Janice lost her two year battle with breast cancer last week.
Needless to say......Highs and Lows!!!
I hear that Flash Fiction 55 has been regulated to the first Saturday of the month, I'll  try
to keep abreast of that situation. I hope that all is going well in Bloggerville, I'll keep in touch.
G.

Hello! So sorry to learn of the loss of your friend's wife. So glad to know you had a wonderful visit with daughter and son-in-law ~~ craft beer is what Bend is famous for! I'm in a complete funk when it comes to writing just now .. don't know if, when, how it's going to get better. Don't be a stranger.

Oh, Galen, I have missed writing for your prompt. I miss YOU. I am glad to see your post.

Sad about Alex's wife. I hate it when people leave us WAY too young.

Do keep in touch, Galen. YOUR words are GOLD.

Hey, don't I know you from someplace? I'm on a brain break away from bloggery atm, but I still missed ya.

Glad you got to spend some time with your offspring, and so sorry about the loss.

I have been communing with chickens, myself. Highs and lows, also,(on a less massive scale) but at least they're out of the spare bedroom now.

What lovely smiles! They look very happy and adorable. Highs and lows.. yes, cancer is an awful beast. I'm sure your friendship and being there for them truly helped. I'm glad you are back and visiting - I've been on a few breaks myself - a 24th wedding anniversary get-a-way and then spending a week with my daughter just out of college before taking her to the airport today - she is studying abroad in Italy for 14 days! Hope to be back visiting and blogging soon… I hear it is still a bit COLD in Michigan! Hope you can stick you toe in the water come August…

Where have you been, my brown-eyed son?
Where have you been, my darling young one?
I've been out in front of many beer forests?
Been through so much but I still sing a chorus.

I sure hope that dude is good to your little girl!! I imagine he is.
