Friday Flash 55.....

There are two entrances to the Drive-Thru at Tim Horton's. If someone lets me in, I pay
for their order then drive off. This morning I was impatient and late. When I FINALLY
got to the window, the clerk handed me my coffee and said..."The Lady ahead said
Thanks, and is returning the favor....

Ha!!! Some one turned the tables on ME!! And I'll say this, it changed my attitude for the
whole day. It's called a ...Random Act of Kindness. Try it, it feels good.
If you or anyone you know is randomly kind or has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment......Then BOOK!!
So from the most repentant host from coast to coast....
Have a Kick Ass Week-End.

You have captured the true meaning of the season with your post. Your random act of kindness makes me smile.

Recently I read about "suspended coffee", a concept that originated in Italy and is spreading throughout the world. When you go to a café, you purchase two cups of coffee but only drinks one. The other one will be given later to someone in need.
Here is my 55 for this week: Morning Drive. Have a great weekend!

You deserve it, G. And you're right, it is something that will change your whole mood, when people do crazy stuff like be nice to each other.

I got mine finished, so it's up--and it's Christmassy!

See everyone in the morning--I'm off to the fireplace and a soothing rest for my eyeballs.

Seems like my random acts of kindness just cause confusion - like the lady who argues because she can't believe anyone would pay her bill like that. Maybe I shouldn't hang around to see what they do.

That's so nice. My mother used to take out her sister who had issues with disability and used a walker and my father, who had parkinson's and used a walker, and once someone paid for her dinner because they figured someone who was taking out two people with walkers to a restaurant--she herself was in her mid-eighties--could use some help! She talked of it for years.

I am not up yet and honestly am in the midst of very stressful work issues but will try to come up with something. Glad all well, Galen. K. (Manicddaily)

And I should stop being such a complainer! Glad you had a good day, Galen, and all your weekend wishes are very wonderful acts of kindness. k.

Guess who actually posted this week!

(Did you get my long rambling e-mail explaining everything?)

I'm here this week, and hope to do a better job of posting every Friday.

Thanks for setting the stellar example!
You totally deserved free Tim Horton's. ;)

Mine's here. :)

I think you and I keep Tim Hortons in business. Many times kindness can only be an action without forethought. Like my 55 I just remembered it was Friday and I should stop writing poetry for a day.

It never happens to me but Ive done it several times. So although it hasnt happened to me yet it still gives me an awesome feeling to know that I paid someones elses bill. My daughter told me one day when she went to McDonalds and she was 4th car in line and so far everyone else in front of her had paid for everyone behind them so she kept up and paid for car behind her. She said she wondered how long it went on? I hope all day!

What a cool thing to do. People like you keep me from becoming a complete misanthrope.
I finally came up with one-my brain hasn't worked properly since the whole NaNoWriMo debacle, which left me utterly drained!
