Friday Flash 55.....
Flint Junior College...1968
Mr. Drew was no-nonsense instructor, and he hated slackers.
The verdict was still out about me, until one day he woke me out of
a nap in Western Civilization 101.
"Mr. Haynes, what year did Garibaldi unify The Papal States?"
(No Clue)
'Ummm...1870?'
"Ha!!! Out of the mouths of babes...."
A true story, and the answer was pulled right out of my ass! He never asked me anything again.
If you or anyone you know is a lucky guesser or has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment.....Then BOOK!
So from the most slacking host from coast to coast...
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!!
( I got a C+ in the class...hehehehehe)

I am not sure I know a lucky guesser but I have written a 55. Here is my Ode To 55.
Cool story. I have never been a lucky guesser; but I enjoy doing 55's. Here is mine.
I did that in Calculus once, then he asked me to show him how I got the answer. I never could keep history dates straight.
Mine is here: Blessing the Hounds
Don't know the answer but history is one of my fav subjects ~ Am playing along ~
Scarlet Verses: Of spring dreams
Off hand I'd say you were a genius. My ass produces completely different answers. :)
Mine is up
C+ for sleeping! That's pretty amazing.
My Angel"
I will be back between commercials and after "Sound of Music" - it is LIVE on NBC - a theatrical production with Carry Underwood. Grew up on that show - also our family has participated in it many times.
UGH
My Angel
That's what I get for being in a hurry.
Quick in your sleep, eh, G-Man?
The poem I've got up on my poetry blog is 55 words . . . if you don't count all the parentheses. Margaret told me to give you a shout; she thinks you'd get a kick out of it.
Obviously you were dreaming about Garibaldi...right? :)
My 55: Ornamental
I knew that. NOT!!!
One time, I knocked over a cup of coffee after falling asleep.
My 55 is a tribute to Mr. Mandela. ~
I cheated in latin class. All my guesses were "lucky".
Maybe it really is true we can learn subconsciously as we dream?
I wrote about a clever idea, too. Coincidence? Prada Marfa
Wonderfully lucky... and a true story also... This week I have one for this... ha.. so many dVerse entries coming here.

You have to be way more than a "lucky guesser" to have had that experience, G. There are some psychic genes inside those jeans, at least that day there were!
Isn't Brian cute with his "shazam!" at being numero uno this week?!
Remembered
Just when you needed it! Well done. Here's mine:

I would never guess you for a slacker! I'm trying not to be. Up and at em just for you. Here is my ode to Red Rover.
I wish I had pulled some answers out of my…. took me back though and here is my contribution G Man - on the 55 http://ramblingsfromamum.wordpress.com/2013/12/06/a-time/
I always say you know a ot more than you say you do, Galen--I'm betting your subconscious works along in overdrive while your brain is otherwise occupied.
Well, my internet is back up, and I'm playin politics:
Curds
Be around to read after some coffee and I have a few intimate moments alone.
Ha - I always knew you were above average!
Lucky indeed! That's a great way to build a reputation, though I'm not sure if it'd be good or bad!
I'm with Alice Aubrey on this; my ass has never been so useful.
Here's mine: Mandela
Ha! lucky you. here is mine: a bit of well, melancholy that rides my mind now http://randomlynovel.blogspot.in/2013/12/the-inevitable.html
Hahaha...nice.
Mine is here - http://janakinagaraj.com/2013/12/soul-within.html

Another dVerse tribute to you & the Flash 55, G-Man; expect dozens more than usual today; well deserved, sir. Mine is called MIRACLE IN THE BURBS

I've not written a Flash 55, but I'll tell a tale of when I was in nursing school. I was working nights (which I still do) and going to school during the day. Ugh! The women who ran the program were a bunch of unsympathetic See You Next Tuesdays, overall. I dozed off in class one time. This instructor knew that I worked nights, but that carried no weight with her. She drew up this manifesto after that, all because of me. I never realized that I had such power! She was really pissed off that I dared fall asleep during her terribly exciting lecture!
back for another helping of 55 - hope you don't mind, Galen ~
Sorry I'm late!
’Tis The Season 55
What's luck gots to do with it ( oh wrong song)
Here
sometimes the guess is the best answer.
