Had I met the dame in a bar, I'd have brushed her aside like a piece of lint.
But there she stood in my office doorway. Young, almost pretty, and not wearing
nearly enough make-up. In spite of her drab look, she was exceedingly friendly.
Sometimes the friendly ones are the most dangerous.....
Note to self: You listen to WAY too many old radio dramas!!

Don't get all excited. She probably just wants to borrow your stapler. :-)
In a pinch, I guess you could try Courting her.
As far as I know, I've never been described as "exceedingly friendly", so I guess you're safe.
Maybe.
They also say you have to watch out for the quiet ones... and I've been described as "quiet" plenty of times.
Sleep with one eye open.
Thanks for another Friday 55!
Mine's here. :)
Hello G-Man! Here is my link for today's 55:
Change
You'd have brushed her aside? Jeez, I think she's quite pretty, reminds me of Paul McCartney's wife, Nancy Shevell. I don't know..... but I do know that your 55 made me think about what makes guys tick!

I always think it's the girls most dressed up that are the most dangerous.

A piece of lint! Oh Galen--too cruel! I have been listening to Radiolab -- at least last night ==so interesting.
Loved your Noirish 55--I haven't listened to so many radio dramas but have read more than share of detective novels.
