"wench-muffin"

I don't know if it is an old saying, but when I was a teenager, my group of friends used it to describe a girl we didn't like. I said it the other day (in a humorous way) and my children almost fell over laughing... So, I offer it up here as "archaic"...

LOVE Whippersnapper!

Margaret got me started on faded slang:

Far out
fab gear
mods and rockers
hepcat
whammalammadingdong

I could go on, but it would be wrong.

And isn't that pic of the guy who said back in his day women used aspirin for birth control by putting it between their knees?? Not even *I* am that old.

bloomers? Twist (referring to a woman)? I don't hear anyone refer to women as broads anymore. Cocksure. Lozenge. Chocolate soda. FlimFlam. Punchdrunk. Corker. Doxy.

That's all I got right now...

See you in the funny papers!

Aww G-man ya made me cry! I walked backwards to read a few I missed and came a pond this post to see pin curls......my mom used to put pin curls in my hair all the time. Its one of my fondest memories of my mom yanking my hair into place. No she wasnt being mean I had the most unrully hair and many many Cowlicks or Hair whorls. But it was a good memory either way Im just glad someone else knows about pin curls!
