Friday Flash 55.....

If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today
You'd better be in disguise.
For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there today because
Today's the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic!!

....They say, we taste like Chicken!

If you or anyone you know has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment...Then BOOK!!!
So from the most unbearable host from coast to coast
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!

One of my favorite songs...

Oh, picnic time for teddy bears
The little teddy bears are having a wonderful time today.
See them catch them unawares
As they picnic on their holiday

Actually, they say we taste like pig. In some cultures that used to practice cannibalism, human flesh was referred to as "long pork."

Pork, Chicken, I've heard tell that some taste like Fish!

Alice Audrey said...

I don't know about the taste, but if I run into a bear, I turn chicken fast.

Now that's funny, G, I don't care who(or what species) you are. And so now we know the *other* thing bears do in the woods. Sorry to poop out on you this week, people--I shall return next Friday to join in the festivities. Everyone have a--well, you all know what kind of weekend is expected of you.

Marathoners do, however, usually carry sweets of some kind, usually honey-like gel packets. You'd think the bears would appreciate that, right?

unbearably cute & funny... I have photos of my grandmother feeding the bears in Yellowstone when she worked there one summer in 1915.

Mine is a holdover from Halloween...

We're havin' a pic-a-nic, now!
;)

(LOVE, love! that Teddy Bear song, BTW!)

I love this so much. Teddy Bears Picnic was probably my most favorite childhood song. You deserve a gourmet picnic this weekend for this special treat, G.

Mine is a list (one or none or all of the above, etc.)

I thought it was a bear we could hear nearby in Yosemite, thankfully it turned out to be a bobcat! I didn't fancy become part of a bear's picnic! LOL

Mine's up. x
