Thursday Portrait....

It's no secret that The G-Man has been known to
serenade The Green Fairy on occasion. In fact I have
several bottles on hand as we speak. But they say
that good things come in small packages, and in this case
thats absolutely true. At 110 proof, this tiniest of the
three bottles sure packs a punch!
Now lets see...If it's 110 proof, whats the alcohol percentage?
See you Thursday 8:00 PM EST...
Here's Mud'n Yer Eye!!!

Sounds like some awfully strong stuff. If you like it, though, enjoy.

It is truly said the 'good things come in small packages' but, as every child knows, the big ones are more fun to unwrap.

Todays Absinthe needs more Wormwood to get that real POE experience! I was never good at maths sir so what is the answer to your question?

I remember way back when Mr Gab and I drank and some one had told us about Ever Clear....They did not sell it here in MN so we drove to SD (before we lived there) and bought some...it was 110 proof. well we had this little party with some neighbors and Mr Gabs cousin....playing some cards and drinking a little. Well the guys got up to get us girls a refreshed drink and I knew what they were doing so I refused to drink mine Unfortunately one gal did then wanted to walk from Bloomington MN to Duluth MN which by car is a good 4 hr drive...and she wanted to do it bare foot and naked.......the other gal was alergic to it and her guy had to rush her to the hospital....We never drank any more after that night and it sat in our cupboard till 1999 (from 1974)when we finally dumped it down the drain.

I've never had Absinthe, what does it taste of?

G-Man said...

Ake...It has a Licorice undertone.
But weirder, and stronger, and dreamier.

While you're 'serenading the Green Fairy' just remember: You are what you drink. (LOL!)

G-Man, you're getting awfully skinny!

I sure am MZ...Right around the ankles! Thanks for noticing...:P

I've heard it said that Absinthe makes your farts go 'honda'. . .

Or something like that. . .

G-Man said...

Craig...Never mention Rice Burners to a Chevy Salesman!

I was about to say absinthe makes the heart grow fonder, but I see someone has already mangled that particular pun. Always wanted to try a taste of that stuff but it's never come my way--so obviously there is no chemical excuse for my weird dreams. Be back later to play.

I'm more of a wine and beer person. Hope you're healing?

Oh, and did you get my invitation? If not, email me at undergroudblog11@gmail.com, and I'll re-send it.
