"Tom...Whats wrong?

What will be my legacy? Who will remember the name of...
Thomas Crapper?'

and i am up!
And if nothing else has done so, this poem should immortalize him. Also, the fact that everything is going down his namesake atm can't hurt either.
I'm playin, even though I cheated a bit for another prompt--the 55 is neatly tucked inside it--please don't throw that stein at me, G--I need your blessing or my weekend will be down the Crapper.
Some Haikus
My dad replaced my toilet for my birthday one year. I remind him that it's the gift I've used more than any other in my life! Mine is up. http://razzamadazzle.wordpress.com/2011/10/06/cinnamons-wings/
LOL
I think his name will never be forgotten... I even taught it to my teen... frequently tell her not to talk a load of ... crap!
Be back in the AM with my 55 ;)
Finally, the recognition he is long overdue!
Mine's up, G-Man. Have a great vacation!
Ah yes..... good old Thomas. What life would be like without him, I shudder to think.
I'm up!
A good tale sir- What is in a name-?
I fell into the Hallows early and probably won't return...
Perfect timing. I had three different kinds of high-fiber cereal today.
Details are perhaps best left to the imagination...
(*awkward pause*)
Thanks for another Friday 55. :)
Mine's here.

As a blogger, I write enough crap for his name never to be forgotten! And to prove it, here's my latest 55!
Enjoy your holiday, G-man...
That reminds me that a Mr. Titsling invented the bra, right?
Still vacationing? yay-hooooo! You deserve a fun time.

I questioned your authenticity and googled the name.... Well what do ya know! Did you know he is also known for the ballcock? Now there's a word... I guess great stuff like this just can't be made up! LOL Enjoy the beautiful state of VA! Are you in the mountains?
First Kiss

Howdy G!
Haven't been around in a while, but I thought I would join the fun today. I have a few choice words for you here!
Oh they remember here in Seattle. When the first toilets arrived they soon learned that everyone needed to regulate their movements with the tide lest they all have it come back up at them. ;-)
I'm playing this week. Mine will be up at midnight Pacific time.
I'm certainly grateful to him. Indoor plumbing rules.:)
Hey, mine went down the crapper this week, too.
Mine is here
If only his name had been John Crapper, he would have had all the bases covered.
HERE is my 55 for this week.
I was too sick to write last week, but I'm back with an offering for you here.
Just goes to show we'll never be remembered in the way we plan!
I wonder what the world will know by the name Galen in a couple of hundred years......
Oops. I forgot
hiya G...vacay and you're writing about the crapper? Dang, you need to get to the pub...book it! As for me, sigh, roll eyes but I have a tribute to one who will be remembered for his crap. Why? He didn't think twice he just followed his heart ~
Well, I tried! But it likely won't mean much to the under 50's. Read on!
Has to be your best historical 55 yet - G
no 55s going down the tubes 4 you!!!
an apple a day
Happy Trails
I've often felt sorry for old Mr Crapper. What a legacy. Nice one.
You'll find mine here.
I thought the painting was lovely and I stared at it awhile before reading your great 55. As hedgewitch said, this should immortalize him...
Have a wonderful vacation!
mine: when blood is not thicker than water
Ironically, everyone remembers it and it's a myth:
