I usually keep things Short and Sweet.
Speaking of Short, did you know that....
.
*Giraffe meat and milk are kosher!
*Giraffes are one of the few animals born with horns!
*Giraffes clean out their noses with their 18 inch tongue!
They also are very prone to drooling.
*The blue-black color of a Giraffe tongue helps it from
getting sunburned while feeding.
*Male Giraffes are bisexual...94% of ALL couplings are
between two males!
(Not that theres anything wrong with that....)

On giraffes... well i didn't know that.. about bisexual..yikes!

as for giraffes cleaning out their noses with their own tongues....i think a coworker of mine must be part giraffe.
Some fabulous facts there G! I did not know that; bisexual and they can clean out their noses with their tongues. Hunh! Interesting traits that many would be proud of. I guess... :)

I like blogging too. So does my human. I must say, I tend to be overdue, and my last kid had horn buds when he was born (ouch)! Our cow and ox can clean their noses out with their tongues too. Trust me, humans are the only animals that seem to get hung up on that gender stuff. Giraffes don't seem so special now, do they. Goats are much better! (Bet giraffes don't blog either.)
Kosher? Really?
Glad my tongue isn't 18 inches long would hate to find out that there were more uses than the obvious...

Thanks for the info on Giraffes, I didn't know most of them. The cleaning out the nose with the tongue grossed me out! Aren't most animals bisexual?

Fascinating! I have been a giraffe admirer from afar; love their colors
height and ability to eat thorns...
Also, giraffes have the same number of vertebrae in their necks as humans.
