TMI Tuesday...

.
Mr. Knowitall is distressed tonight, and TMI Tuesday is temporarily suspended! When I turned on my Homepage Yahoo at work today, The Headlines just jumped out at me... "Zsa Zsa requests last rites!!" Zsa Zsa was Catholic ? Plus wasn't she married about 8 or 9 times? And how did she get 8 annulments? I think when Zsa Zsa was young, she was married to one of the Medici Popes. But thats beside the point, when I was growing up she was the Queen of Glam! She was the Paris Hilton of her day, famous for being famous. In fact, Zsa Zsa was married to Conrad Hilton in the early 40's. So technically Zsa Zsa is Paris Hilton's Step Grandma! So poor Zsa Zsa is getting fed by a tube, just got Extreme Unction, and is fading fast. Personally I prefer NOT to remember her like that. The above pics is how I choose to remember her.
God speed on your next Jet-Set trip Honey....
.
"She always wears charms, diamonds, pearls galore.
She buys them at the 5 and 10 cent store.
She wants to be just like Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Even though she's the girl next door."
(Dion...Donna The Prima Donna)
.
PS...She was NOT the Green Acres Gabor.
That was her sister Eva.
.
Pax Vobiscum Zsa Zsa....!!!

Well, that's just sad. She's 90-something and has led a good long life, but it's still sad.

This does kine of bring that star status into focus. The rich and famous die just as we do. Yes, she was beautiful, and I'm sure she would be thrilled to know you choose to remember her in her glory!

The saddest thing is her current husband probably milking her impending death for publicity. Prince Von -A-Hole... Yes...I read too much TMZ and Perez Hilton. Yes, I'm hanging my head n shame.

This is sad. Inalways liked the sister next door always. But still sad to see such a queen of glam go through this. I like you I prefer not to remember her like this.

Every time Zsa Zsa would be on a talk show or in the headlines, my elderly mother used to ask, "Why is she famous? What has she ever done?"

But, as you say, just like Paris, she is famous for being famous.

I think the average person looks at people like this and thinks, with all of their money and opportunities, they could have done some good in the world instead of being famous for being rich, having many marriages, and hitting the headlines for bad behavior.

Interesting tribute G-Man, I always liked the glam queen myself, and her lovely accent. Funny how you remembered that song from Dion and the Belmonts, they were from a neighborhood near my house when I was growing up. His sister became a bit of a snob and didn't talk to us when her brother became famous in the Bronx. Like the lyrics though, we had some very large 5 & 10 stores on Fordham road, and Arthur/Belmont Ave. that probably inspired the song.

Every woman wants to be remembered as they were in their prime - I think Zsa Zsa would thank you for that G-man. :)

She was one of Hollywood's larger-than-life glamour girls. There aren't many of them left. Sad.

it is a beautiful tribute to a wonderful icon who definitely lived way past her prime.
