I loved Polaroids. I'm still heartbroken that they stopped making them last year. They were great fun to use :) I swear, seeing old yellowed polaroid pictures makes me think of childhood.
So, how much is the film that goes inside it? LOL, I bet that is expensive. I remember my dad had one of those polaroids..and I loved the fact that the pics came out instantly..and like magic the photo appeared before your very eyes :)
ha, that's old. i've got one too from my dad, where the flash is this round silver things that you have to fan out into a circle? nope, digital's much easier.
To think that way back when these things used to be the cutting edge. We are like our grandparents having gone from horse and buggy to flights to the moon old man.
I remember thinking that the flash bars were the coolest things ever. I now understand why there are so few pictures from long ago and how cherished they are.
My Dad loved the latest gizmos- we had one of the first to come out, and it was a lot more than 20 bucks! Made of metal and leather, it was a wonder for it's time...

I had one of those when I was, like, 10. I'm really glad my digital camera doesn't have those icky flash things. And you still have this why?:)

I have a very old Polaroid camera from an Aunt circa 1960. Hard an unopened film, too.

I got a Kodak instamatic about the same year, with flashcubes.
flash cubes! wow, i haven't thought about them for a long time!
wow.. I think that one survived the arc and subsequent flooding.
And isn't polaroid going to stop making film for those cameras. Now it's truly a relic! :/
I remember those flash bars. And I remember when Gram bought a Polaroid. She scared us!
the flash would turn black after it was used.
