There's A Nip In The Air.......

Hi Everybody...
Well, the calender says it's October.
Theres ice in the bird bath..
The Mums are blooming..
Remember the wild pumpkin that sprouted up next to my porch a few weeks back?
This is what I ended up with..Weird looking isn't it?
The sky is gray, the leaves are about to explode with color.
I guess it's time to put the lawn chairs, and the grills inside for the Winter!
I picked up the New Dan Brown book for 40% off list price.
Time to curl up by the fire and enjoy a good read.
There is a bumper crop of Apples and Tomatoes this year..
I think an Apple Crisp, and some BLT's are in order for supper tonight...
Enjoy your day off...
Peace...!!!

Sounds like a good dinner coming up tonight. I'll be watching all that cold weather on CNN better there than in person. Have a great Sunday and week ahead :)

What? No mention of the Wolverines' game? You must be hurting. Funny how many blogs touched on the feel of the changing seasons. It is what inspired me for my 160.

That poor pumpkin sure is scrawny. Is it even big enough to carve into a mini-jack-o-lantern? I can't believe you have ice already. Yikes!

I am coming to your house to eat today! Hey Galen, how the heck are you friend? I am wonderful, just trying to play catch up in blogland. It is dreary, cool and rainy here today so after church I made a huge pot of chili and we snuggled in for some movies.

Hope you are doing well! :)

Congratulations on your pretty mums and new book, but GAH now I'm so hungry. You had to mention pumpkins and blts?? Hm, maybe I'll go bake a batch of cookies.

I'm hoping to read that soon. Was sort of waiting for the paperback. (Where did you find such a deal?)

You just love rubbing it in, right?

What I wouldn't give for a little "nip in the air".

GAHHHHHHHH! Ice in the birdbath and an alien pumpkin from outer space, my God! Winter too soon this way comes.

I thought the pumpkin was a candle at first. :) Apple crisp and reading - doesn't get any better than that.

Did you say put up the grill???? That's blasphemy, lol. I've been known to stand out in the falling snow, flipping steaks. :D

Oh. My. God. I LOVE apple crisp. I know what I'm having with dinner tonight. Vanilla H.D. melting on it. Heaven!

And how the heck did you score the new Dan Brown at that price? Is it as good as his others?
