Thursday Portrait......

I've been told that I don't smile very much lately.

Lets see, I'm working on my day off.

Bike Nite got rained out.

I'm down to $1.72 until Friday.

But on the bright side, in the morning an X-Tra large coffee with double cream, is only $1.57 at Tim Horton's, WITH my senior discount!!!!!

Start thinking about your Friday 55 kiddies...

Peace...!!!

Well, at least you're "almost" smiling. Sometimes, stuff just gets to be a bit much but, as you say, there IS always a bright side. May you get sunshine, find money, and make a big sale tomorrow -- after you have your coffee.:)

ah, my dear g-man, let me assure you, that most of the time i write from the past. something in the day may have triggered the reminder, but it's not where i am (most days). i guess i'm just not a mills & boon kinda person, more a stephen king one....

I have mine planned out. It is hard to see in that picture if your smiling or not. But then it might just be my computer which shows pictures on the dark side.

That bike is so rad. I've wanted one since I was 22 but every woman in my life has always freaked out telling me I'm gonna kill myself.

I drive really slowly now though, maybe I'm ready for one. I'm a careful dude these days. Ever since I got a family and had something to be careful for.

Anyway, it's almost Friday and then you can start this nonsense all over again! WOOHOO!

Love the blog.

I have thought about my 55. I wrote it a couple weeks ago, actually. But, my emotions are more apropos to posting it this week, instead.

I haven't been smiling much either. I goof around, but my smiles are far and few between.

You, however, are devilishly handsome with, or without, a smile.

But, your smile is so very bright and shines so very far, that it is always lovely--indeed--to see.

I used my Student Discount at the show today seeing Star Trek even though I had just taken my final exam and technically am no longer a student until I can afford to be one once again.

And I used a coupon to go to Mickey D's, to which I never go, just because I could get a free medium iced mocha with the purchase of any sandwich. So, I got the grilled chicken, and that was actually pretty good.

And, now I'm at Dunkin' Donuts because they have two specials going on. The first one was 88cents for a soft serve cone with 'magic' sprinkles. I got the 'berry' flavour which changes from orange to blue.

And when I leave I will get their 99cent latte special.

And to make me have the slightest chance of smiling....I will be adding some Effen Black vodka to that latte as soon as I walk in the door.

In true lush fashion.

xoxo, Gayland Lee.

I love you.

I don't know, I think that bruding (spelling?) look works for you! Kind of sexy.

There is NO WAY I am claiming my senior discount yet, I JUST CAN'T!! I am still in denial.

Have a nice weekend.
