Hi Everybody...remember last weeks post about the Slinky? Well I thought I'd share this weeks entry in Retro-Wednesday. I have The first 7 issues of the original ATOM comic book. But Only the first 4 issues would be worth selling. These were introduced in June of 1962. I have no idea what they may be worth, I couldn't seem to navigate correctly to any price guide. I guess I'll have to look it up at Border's...High-Tech ya know.
.
Peace...!

Originals? That's pretty cool. If they're wrapped in protective plastic, I think that increases their value. Check it out at Borders.:)
i've got a feeling that your treasures will be very valuable (monetary or not)....cool stuff all around.
I saw 21 last week and got to see the previews for both the Hulk and Iron Man and it was WAY too exciting.
I'm pretty sure your comics are worth a pretty penny, Galen.
why are only the first 4 worth selling? the others are damaged or what?
When I was about 9 or 10, my older brother(22-23) got me a pile of Marvel comics for Christmas one year (1961-62?) If I still had the ones he had bought me, I don't know how much they'd be worth! I'm sure some were 1st or 2nd issue...
Pretty cool stuff ya got there, G.
I would have NO clue on that one g-man. You're on yer own! I don't think that I've ever owned a comic book...lol!
Is it Friday yet??
Wow, that is great Galen. I am the type of person that even if I had something vintage worth lots of money I wouldn't be able to part with it because of sentimental value and all. You have a good day!

An after the fact comment...
Last night I was watching Deal or No Deal. They offered the person a lot of money but he could have done better. I think it was like $185,000 but what sealed the deal was he would be a one time character in the marvel comics with the hulk and with one of the x-men characters. How cool would that be. It may not be worth much to anyone but to that person it would be priceless. I mean you would have to buy like 100 copies so you could hand them out like business cards.
I can see it now, a super-G character ridding off into the sunset on his Harley after defeating the villain.
Bardude,
I would SO buy the G-man graphic novel.
It might be worth money someday.
Ya never know...
That's funny. I have the first 10 as well. Mint. I'm not a big comic book collector either.
