Holiday Shopping With the G-Man

Fed up with eating tips(get it)? How about a few Holiday shopping tips...........

If you are a stay-at-home spouse, it's not cool to charge your Christmas gift for the 'other'. That means they are paying for their own gift...c'mon!

Men, If you are crazy enough to buy an article of clothing for your wife or girlfriend, and don't know her size, always buy it smaller...."but honey, you looked that size to me'!

Men like tools for gifts. Under no circumstances buy an appliance as a gift for a women! But some women do enjoy fancy kitchen stuff. But think it through, and use extreme caution...
Really if you are in doubt...jewelry!

If you absolutely are last minute lazy, or are drawing a complete blank, you can never go wrong with cash or a gift card.

Combo-Gifts are quite cheesy...You know, anyone with a birthday within 3 weeks of Christmas.. 'Oh, it's for your birthday AND Christmas'.

Re-Gifts...Please Please, make sure that you are not giving the gift to the person that gave it to you originally! And make sure any old name tags adressed to you are removed.. And make sure any stickers on the gift are removed...To get a gift that says 'Compliments of State Bank', is not cool at all.

....And lastly, if the recipient of said gift, upon opening it repeats aloud what it is, you've made the wrong choice.........." Oh, a golf tie!'.........OR.....'Oh, a spatula!'

Happy Holidays...Galen

Some 'tools' are okay for your honey. Just depends on your definition of 'tool.'

And, I wouldn't give your sweetie or friends cash. Family is okay if they are younger than you in most cases. Like it's okay for parents to give their kids cash, but I wouldn't give your kid brother cash. I'd give a nephew or niece cash on-top of other small stuff maybe, but I wouldn't give parents cash. If your parents are in need of financial help and you are able to give it, I would give it and not as a Xmas gift.

As for the eating tips that I couldn't comment on earlier,

1. I fucking LOVE carrots. Vitamin E keeps you horny and is good for your eyes and beta-carotene is a natural anti-oxidant! Plus, they're sexy to watch your beau eat, cos they're crunchy and that's exciting.

2. I fucking LOVE skim milk. Less fat, just as filling. ESPECIALLY with regards to potatoes.

All the rest sound fun, well except for if you LIKE fruitcake, then please eat away and be happy.

Yay!

I can comment!!

I am enjoying all of your helpful holiday tips, Galen.

Keep them coming.

i would not presume to purchase a tool for my husband because invariably i get the wrong tool. one year he said he needed a hmmer. i thought it would be a nice stocking stuffer. i went to the store to pick a hammer. good gravy there were 29 different types of hammers. i mean come on....yer just whackin a nail into some wood right?? how complex a tool can this be? there are no moving parts!!! i picked a hammer and put a bow on it. he gave a polite thanks then announced it was a girly hammer. what??? there were no pictures of flowers on it. it wasn't pink or purple. it was a standard wood shaft hammer with a silver tone head and claw. what is girly about that??? too lightweight. it's a girl hammer.

dang, i think i just put a whole post here in your comment box!

Very smart to suggest buying a smaller size if you are crazy enough to buy clothes for your wife/ girlfriend. Jewelry is goo but not a ring unless you know the correct size.
