While staying in beautiful Colorado, beauty and wildlife are everywhere!
We took a daytrip of about 98 miles to Mt. Evans. It's 14,265 ft above sea level
and that's where the Mountain Goats hang out at. The top pic is the visitor lodge
on the way to the summit, and it's the highest paved road in North America. The
view is like a framed picture eh? And if you blow up the center pic it's like a
Where's Waldo because there are at least 6 goats laying around.
The bottom pic is me and Reese on the banks of the Mighty Colorado. We were
on our way to Glenwood Springs the resting place of Doc Holiday.
Oddly enough, we were EXACTLY 55 miles from our room in Vail...
See you Thursday 8:00 PM EDST.

ReplyDelete!!! I THINK I see two goats.... are you pulling our legs? You need to give us an answer key to this puzzle! And 55 miles away... hmm... and HOW big were the fish you caught?
ReplyDeleteSo did you climb high enough to be with your peers you old goat?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Millie says to tell her cousins, the mountain goats, "hi"!
ReplyDeleteI love the way Brian calls you 'dude' 'cause that's just what you are ... continue with the fun and games, Galen.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous view!
ReplyDeleteYou look disgustingly happy and healthy, G--and whatever you are so coincidentally 55 miles away from, where you are looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteI am back out from under my rock now, so will see you later for the funfest--but it really looks like you're already having more fun than legally permitted.
Those goats need some Waldo hats. I don't see any. Great pictures G. Love Doc Holiday! I'll have a 55 for you this week. :)
