Every year we collect toys for the U.S. Marines
Great Holiday tradition of Toys for Tots!
They will be collecting next week, and the old tree
is starting to accumilate some wonderful things.
With the snow, and the cold, and the music, and the traffic,
and the hustle and bustle...It's beginning to look a lot like
Christmas. Am I forgetting anything else?
Semper Fi.....
smiles. its a great program...we sponsor a kid each year as well...see you tomorrow G!
ReplyDeleteExcellent you crafty Santa you. See ya tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful tradition. Now what did you forget? You forgot to remind us about tomorrow. Mine's already prepared. Does this mean I get lots of pressies from Santa for being such a good girl?
ReplyDeleteI just whipped up mine. Funny, when you only post once a week, it's *that* much easier to get a 55 ready to roll. ;)
ReplyDeleteSee you tomorrow, G!

ReplyDelete(The silent woman post made me too sad to comment.)
What a great thing to do! :)
ReplyDeleteHow nice, to be involved in something like this. Happy giving.
ReplyDeleteI think I counted 55 toys under that tree.
ReplyDeleteG Man!!!
ReplyDeleteYour tree has Balls!!!
Heard on the news last night that some organization like this that helps kids out at Christmas was getting tons more letters than usual, and that the kids were asking not just for the usual toys, but for clothes. You know times are hard when kids *themselves* want a new coat for Christmas. Great work you're doing here, G-Man.
ReplyDeleteSweet! they will appreciate it for sure.
ReplyDeletej:))
That's AWESOME!! It's great to give. We help out Brown Santa here.

ReplyDeleteTFT is a great thing! I love the Marines!! Semper Fi indeed
I hope to have my "55" pressy done for you early...
Nice one ...it's not Christmas til the giving begins.
