This little guy was on the hood of my car last week.

  1. O.K. so no retro this week, but the mantis in all its forms is enough for me.

    Cute guy, but if I met him in person I'd freak because I have a bug phobia. The phobia has gotten a little better the older I get.

  5. The Praying Mantis and the Walking Stick are two of my favorite insects (along with those champion mosquito feasters the dragonfly).

  6. this must be their time of year...we had two get in the house this last week..big suckers too. daddy had to come to the rescue of the boys and his bride...once they saw it was fine the boys were all over inspecting them...nice haiku...what do they prey on i wonder...nice one shot g!
