One Shot Wednesday....

.
.
I Sense Your Presence....
When I SMELL Lavender.
FEEL a warm gentle Rain.
SEE a Romantic Moon.
HEAR a Lover's refrain.
But my arms are now empty, and the one sense I miss.
My Raison d'Etre...
The TASTE of Your Kiss.
.
.

TMI Tuesday....

.

.

Hope, from South Carolina asks..."Dear Mr. Knowitall, I've been tagged by that Bus Drivin, Spam Eatin, Warrior Lovin, Warm-Hearted Son of a Gun Thom, to reveal very personal things about myself publicly. Not only that, he wants me to tag 8 other people to do the same! Now I have been blogging longer than you have, and I can not ever remember you doing one of these Meme's. But Thom has bet me as to how many 'Tag'ees' will respond and do the darn thing. So hows about it? Will you do this for me?"
.
Dear Hope....Of course I will!!!...And the reason being, is that a few months back you were feeling guilty about not visiting as many 55er's as you seemed fair. You were actually thinking about never doing another 55 again because of that. I commented that sometimes Real Life interfere's with blogging, and just do it for yourself. Anyway, you have been a loyal and faithful contributor each and every week to my Friday Funfest, and I think I owe you one! So here ya go....
.
.
1.) WHY DID YOU START BLOGGING?.... I started blogging so that I could comment on several blogs where I had been following, that wouldn't allow Anonymous Comments!
.
2.) IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WITH NO COST OR RESTRICTIONS, WHERE WOULD IT BE AND WHY? ... Atlantis, (The Antideluvian one, NOT the resort) For obvious reason's...The Knowledge!
.
3.) DID YOU HAVE A TEACHER IN SCHOOL THAT HAD A GREAT INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE? AND HOW?.... Yes I did. My high school English Teacher Richard Plourde. He taught us about the Classics and how they influenced us in the past and present. He had a Passion for teaching that was amazing to behold. He loved it so much that no one in the class ever wanted to disappoint him.
.
4.) IF YOU COULD SPEND A DAY WITH A FAMOUS PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE, AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO?... Hugh Hefner....What do you think?
.
5.) TOILET PAPER, OVER OR UNDER?.... Actually, I hate it on a roller, I prefer to twirl around on my hand!....(over)
.
6.) NAME THE ONE THING IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU WOULD DO OVER IF POSSIBLE ... I would have gone into teaching!
.
7.) TELL US ABOUT YOUR PETS... We have three cats, Beaver, Remi, and a small newly aquired stray that I'm not really sure what we call her. Our 15 year old Sheltie named Lady died at home 2 weeks ago. She hated me, but the house seems so eerily silent now when I come home, she used to bark and yap at me for several minutes upon me walking in the door. EVERY TIME I walked in the door!
.
8.) DO YOU LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN, OR A LARGE CITY?... It used to be a very thriving, bustling, progressive city of about 200,000. but sadly it has dwindled to about 90,000.
.

.
There ya go Hope.... ...Maybe now you will win your bet?
I'm not tagging anybody....Sorry.

Mr. Knowitall grows weary from all this Meme Business... I bid you Adieu!

Coffee Talk.....

.
.
Hi Everybody...
Welcome to Coffee Talk.
As you can see by the Tim Horton's induced grin, I must have something to SMILE about!
And I certainly DO!
For the past two inglorious seasons, Michigan Stadium aka. The Big House, has been undergoing some expansion. They added some 'Sky Boxes' and more Handicapped seating. During this renovation, U of M had to relinquish their crown of having the largest seating capacity to Penn State. For 30 years we got to hear at half-time from the PA announcer..."And once again Ladies and Gentlemen, we wish to thank you for being part of THE largest crowd in America watching a football game today. Today's attendance is....." and then he would read it off.
So on Saturday September 4th, The New Improved Even BIGGER Big House, was re-dedicated! As you can see from my photo gallery, it was a beautiful Fall Day. You can see me holding up my FREE complimentary 24 oz Absopure Spring Water, (In a comemerative bottle). The pic of me seated was 2 hours before kick-off, with only a few thousand 'Early Birds in the stands. But the pic of Michigan's Marching Band playing "Hail To The Victor's", had the attendance at about 113, 090!!! Once again making me part of the Largest crowd in America watching a football game that day. But this one was special... It was THE Largest Crowd EVER to watch a Game!! And this was just a game against Connecticut...Just wait till MSU, Nebraska, or the Buckeyes come to town!
So I'll probaly return to Monkey Man';s Sunday 160 next week...
But for now I'm still basking in Michigan's 30-10 victory over the Huskies.
Thanks for indulging me a little today....
Peace...!!!

Thursday Portrait.....

.
.
About 20 miles North of Flint, there's a quaint German village by the name of Frankenmuth. It used to be the site of one of the 8 Carling Black Label breweries. But now it is famous for Broasted Chicken Dinners, and Bronner's Christmas store. The store is much larger than a Football field, and employs over 500 people. You can read about it ..Here!
Anyway, this past Monday when I arrived at work, on my desk was a box from Bronner's. Much to my DELIGHT, when I opened it this beautiful mug was inside. Just then, our store's general manager Mark Janowiecki popped into my office and said that he and his family were in Frankenmuth on Sunday, and this mug was SCREAMING My name!! He knows what a Michigan fan I am, and said "Merry Christmas a bit early".
Of course he left the price tag on the bottom, $14.95...!!!
It's nice to be loved.. hehehe
Now I'm sure there's something I need to do for Friday...
If I could only remember what... Hmmmmmm
Peace...!!!
