Hi everybody, all back safe and sound with a brief synopsis of my recent journey...
Entered the lovely and picturesque state of Maine.
Sought out and FOUND a local grocery store. ( markets are very small in Maine )
Cooked up a swell lunch of the local fare.
Visited a Pub in Bar Harbor that had a very strange name.
Marveled at the majestic beauty of Acadia National Park.
( Repeated pics 2-5 on a daily basis for a week )
Enjoy and share any Maine-ly moments that you might have with us...I'll be around .

Hi Galen, Looks / sounds like a great trip. I was in Maine twice in my life & loved the coast and the fresh seafood can't be beat. I wouldn't mind another visit there. Good to see you!

ReplyDeleteMy niece went camping all by herself in Arcadia National Park. How beautiful it is, and that lobster looks great. And cool that you found that pub. Too bad they spelled the name wrong. Welcome home. Thank God we're finally getting some rain.

Maine-ly moments will have to be experienced through you. I have yet to visit the north-eastern reaches of our country. But it looks well worth the travel! And it seems you are back to enjoy a Michigan summer :)

I'm heading to Maine in mid-Sept. Hoping to find some great lobsters and clam chowder, too and take lots of photos.

ReplyDeleteI went to Maine a few summers ago and loved it. Very beautiful. And Bar Harbour was a lot of (touristy) fun.
