Friday Flash 55.....

Finally....He got a date!
Sure, it was another blind date. But from what his cousin told him, she was PERFECT!
She had a body like a shot of Brandy on a Winter's night, she had legs so long you
had to stop at her knee-cap to get directions....( Sometimes cousins exaggerate)

And they lived happily ever after.
If you or anyone you know was set up by a cousin or has written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell The G-Man!
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment.....Then BOOK!!
So from the most gracious host from coast to coast...
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!

  1. Well, I wasn't set up by a cousin!
And I am giving you something besides snow, as you requested in yesterday's post. In fact, I am pretending it is summer.....and I wrote about rabbits and GREEN:

    Here's my 55:  A Rabbit's Fate.

You will find mine here. (I think) :)

  3. Oh, blind dates are dangerous! It's much safer to just stay home with the goats and be a crazy goat lady. ;-)

    Mine is HERE.

  4. Obviously she must have hidden qualities and a sparkling personality and a half. (Also, why do they *both* look upset--I mean, him, I can understand...but really...)

G, I didn't write a story, and it wasn't about snow, or even any hallucinations containing snowrabbits and devil-possums, but it was the best I could do:

    Three Flower Highway

  5. So that's how the two of them got together. I thought maybe it was his personality.

    My 55 is here

  6. We will be spending a week at the Outer Banks this summer and I told my 14 year old daughter their might be cute guys. She said "Oh, I KNOW. I'm thinking about that!". Hmmm - I think her dad will be keeping a close eye on her! :)

I did my best to create a story - love people watching and I made up a story about a lone man I saw walking the beach each morning with his dogs. (I WAS thinking of the 55's while on vacation!

    The Bachelor

  7. Yay for her!!
I want that black robe, except I promise I would wear pants (or a skirt) with mine.

I wrote about food this week, so yay for old times.
None of it makes any sense, but whaddya expect. These polar vortexes (vortices?) are freeze-drying my brain cells.

    Thanks for another Friday 55!
    Mine's here. :)

  11. Mad magazine once out out an LP of goofy rock n roll songs. My older brother got it and now I have it, having been listening to it since i was tiny. One of the songs goes:

A blind date!/a blind date!/ I'll never go on one again, you can bet./ A blind date!/ a blind date!/ I'd rather play Russian roulette!

    Mine us up. :-)

  13. And they lived happily ever after... and that is what matters. And yes, people do exaggerate. Well-penned.

  16. perhaps the cousin was blind that would explain a lot...http://www.shinethedivinecreativityisaspiritualpractice.com/2014/02/i-heart-macro-week-38.html

  17. Actually, I think they're cute together!
BTW, where did you get that picture of my husband and me?
Actually, in spite of being an old Goth gal, I don't wear that much white makeup. But the relative sizes are uncanny. I'm kind of short and round and my husband is tall and thin.
I may try this. I'm looking through writing prompts and seeing if something sparks a little creativity for me!

  19. I know this is quite late, but I was inspired to write this.
People can be beautiful even if they do not look like what we are told to see as beautiful. It's character that matters.
