Friday Flash 55.....

I was just dozing off, when I heard a loud THUMP!
I sat straight up in bed, flicked on the light, and Freaked Out!
Standing at the foot of my bed was...The Ghost of Dr. Watson!

"Dr. Watson, why are you haunting me?"

'IDIOT.....I'm NOT a Fictional character, I'm Chester Allen Arthur!!!!

Hey....Don't blame me for this being so weird, I don't tell ghosts who they can or can't haunt!
If you or anyone you know is a dead president or has a written a Friday Flash 55
Please come tell the G-Man
I will visit, read, enjoy, comment....Then BOOK!
So from the most EXCLAMATORY host from coast to coast!!!
Have a Kick Ass Week-End!!!

  1. Galen--I completely understand this dream! You should be very very worried.

My computer has allowed me to get this far without exploding, (the computer, that is, not me--exploding and all) so I am playing, but it's only fair to warn you, this is all about another weird dream

  3. Well, this is based on an experience we had today -- an apt subject for a 55!

  4. This reminds me that somewhere in the bedroom I have the complete set of Sherlock Holmes and I never did finish reading it all those years ago.

I'd love to say it's because I found more interesting things to do in the bedroom, but alas.

    Although...

    Thanks for another Friday 55!
    Mine's here. :)

  5. No ghosts or dead presidential relatives here, though they say there have been visitations in the old grave yard in the village (It's very old, pre-revolutionary war vintage stones) ...but I wrote a 55 today: http://www.shinethedivinecreativityisaspiritualpractice.com/2013/10/only-in-letting-go.html

  13. If you're going to be haunted by a president, can't you do better than a one-term guy?

    Mine is ready: Transparent

  14. Chester A. Arthur began his political career promoting the 'spoils system.' However, as president, he advocated for political reform

  17. I'm so very late to the party. I blame the ghosts haunting me. Or maybe it's just the usual strange voices in my head.

    Mine is HERE.

  19. Hey Galen--I don't know whether I'll get my 55 together but checked yours for inspiration--I will try - but will be late--at work today (wah!) and somehow they have more patience for bean counting than word counting. Take care and watch out for Millard, as in Fillmore.

    k.

  20. Sure glad they visit you,
    BUT:
on another but yet same note:
yesterday I had a dream I was in a hospital. The nurse was telling me he wasnt doing very well. I went over opened the door and my brother was lying on the bed. He looked very bad. He said Ive made lots of mistakes and Im sorry, then was gone. It was so damn real. I tried to call him but since my dad passed and all the crap gone on with court over his estate and my youngest sister ended up with all the money and the house and he thinks I was in on it he refuses to speak to me. SO I dont know if he is ok or not. So my only choice is.......scan the Colo Springs paper obit every day!
