ReplyDeleteI don't know. I think the Mayans just got tired of making calendars. Let's hope so.
ReplyDeleteFunny post G-Man. Sorry, i haven't been around. But I'm here tonight.
Let us hope they are not eerily accurate.

I think that that is as high as those Mayans could count! :)
ReplyDelete...and yes, I'm sure we have already littered upon the moon.
Hungry Like a Wolf
If it is The End Of The World As We Know It, at least R.E.M. was nice enough to write a song about it. (Awesome song, mediocre video.)
ReplyDelete(I have ALL the words memorized and compulsively sing along whenever I hear it. :)
Thanks for another Friday 55!
Mine's here. :)

ReplyDeleteFlash 55 - Wanted: Dead or Alive?
Is Starbuck's really proof of life on earth? Maybe it's simply space jetsam.
ReplyDeleteWe're all Touchy Feely over at my place: Termites of Sin
LOL...I imagine they would find our trash on Mars too...we leave it just about everywhere we go.

No more end of the world talk! My daughter keeps telling me that she doesn't have to do her winter book report because the world is supposed to end before it's due.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! (we suffered through years of son #3 insisting this was real - he outgrew it)
ReplyDeleteJanna and I share the same love of R.E.M. ~~~ I should challenge her to a 'sing off'
I'm here

last stand huddles
Wannaother good laugh, G? My husband has a co-worker who actually is taking the Last Day and the day following the Last Day off as vacation. She is terrified. I guess she scheduled the day after off from work so she can collect herself before returning to work (should she, in fact, have to return to work, which she is not thinking she will have to do because of the horror of her demise along with the rest of us). :)
ReplyDelete:), G-Man..
ReplyDeletei did not come by to your blog
till this moment on the clock
and what do i see?
here too, the mayan prophecy:)
If you haven't seen the show "Doomsday Preppers," you haven't seen paranoia.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you guys, so I decided to play.
Ha! ha! just a coupla pranksters, eh? Ain't it always the way. Much ado about nothing.
ReplyDeleteYet, I'll breathe happier on the 22nd.

So I made a couple of 55ers.

Cheers!

What, no rolling heads for soccer-ball jokes? Can't have a Mayan sports calender without some skull polo. Or was that the Aztecs? Meso-America is so confusing.
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed this week, G--will try for next time.

ReplyDeleteTrying the link again, G. It's driving me crazy trying to figure out what's up. :)

You so funny!
ReplyDeleteI missed you too! Thanks for the visit. I had started something in the morning, but by evening I just couldn't get fifty-five out of it. Thanks so much! Next Friday a heavy day for me actually. (We are interring the ashes of my dad at Arlington Cemetery. He was a two-war veteran. So pretty intense. But I will try to post early if I can (or on Thursday! ) Thanks much. k.
(PS - don't mean to be so heavy here! It has taken a long time to arrange all of the Arlington stuff- not because of Arlington, but coordinating it all with family members so it's been several months.)
hahahahah
ReplyDeleteI'm rather looking forward to it all.....I'll finally have time to 55.....
Merry, merry!
Mimi
