  3. Ha! "Yer killin me," Linda's last words--it's not nice to laugh at a man with a knife in his hand.

    My horror story is a little more universal, but may have a scary postscript to the rightwardly leaning.

  6. I don't do scary very well. Haven't been in a spook house since I was 12 and rarely watch horror movies (my favorite is "The Omen" with Gregory Peck) The name Manson always sends shivers up my spine. Now, Mack the Knife with Sinatra and Buffett I like a lot... and Ella Fitzgerald gave them a run for their money :) But Bobby Darin... I LOVE his version. He was a classy guy... sang a few time with Judy Garland. :)

    HERE is mine. (I had a helluva busy week - still need to respond to last Friday's posts) Hope to do so tomorrow.

  10. "When You're Dead, You're Family" is a marvelous slogan for a mortuary. This 55 creeped me out but I loved it, and the graphic too.

    {One of my jobs in the past was to audit all of Oregon's prearranged funeral plans. I got to travel the state and spend lots of days in mortuaries (offices), and to pay my respects to the occasional dead one on display. Eeeeeek!}

  15. Cool radio! Are you hating on Bad Axe??? You know there's an old story about a family around the corner from us, father kills them all off, years and years ago, or so the story goes. This all makes me think of that old song from Axel Rose...or was it ACDC? "I used to love her, but I had to kill her, I had to put her 6feet under, but I can still hear her complain."

    I can't play today...too many beets to pull and brussels sprouts to pick and tomato cages to store and so on. It's not the posting that takes time, but the proper participation one must engage in to be a real player. But soon I'll be back in the writer's seat where I belong!!

  18. Ha! And she didn't even shut up at the end! Sheesh! Some people never learn!

    Have you read Carl Hiassen? He has a character who collects 911 calls. It is very creepy but in Hiassen's hands pretty crazily funny too. (Not making fun of victims - )

    Here's mine. I'm sorry - politics and Seamus onthe brain. Have a great weekend.
