May Day..May Day.....

The lawn was in Dire need of a trim today,
so I fired up the Craftsman Riding Mower,
And Reese mowed the ditch. The Deer have
been munching flowers at night, and it's
making me a bit non-plussed!
They are like Rats....

  3. That is not your front yard. I am saying this over and over again, to make myself feel better. We got some snow today, just so you know.

  4. I've noticed that some plants that are sold have "deer resistant" on them. Guess it's a common problem.

  9. The lawn looks beautiful in spite of the deer invasion! We had the first lawn cutting of the year Saturday and I have to admit the scent of fresh mown grass makes me long for summer (no allergies here).

  10. Ah I remember those munching deer in Canada. Your yard looks GREAT, tho!

Craftsman -- Sears brand? No! That's Mastercraft. I think? Maybe? See, I kinda pay attention to "boys." things sometimes. :)

  11. Your yard is beautiful.

    Deer though? Wow.

Guess I better stop kvetching about our teetotaling slugs and the possums, squirrels and birds eating our berries. I hear deer and rabbits are garden terrorists!

The only deer we see around here are on early morning mountain drives or in zoos.

  12. Hey

I heard that if you pee on the flowers the deer stay away.

Sounds crazy but it might work?

Let me know if you try it
