One Shot Wednesday.....

.

.
Usually decisions...Are made without regret.
But a single moment of weakness
Creates anguish we'ed rather forget!
Never blindly gamble, always hedge your bet.
Never walk a tightrope, without a safety net.
Impulse can cause chaos, devoid of any neatness.
So pray your life does NOT reflect...
A single moment of weakness.

  11. Damn. That was really smooth. Excellent poetic telling with gambling and circus imagery balancing the voice and emphasizing your point.

  13. Amazing to think just poor judgment separates the losers from the winners--or is it just the bad luck of getting caught? Wise words and trademark snark make for an excellent one shot.

  21. Here's a comment poem for YOU...

Once a young fellow in Michigan
Did long for warm weather to fish again
But with 3 feet of snow
    And 20 below
All he could do was just wish again.

Brought to you by Funsterment Global Inc.

And hey -- I have a photo of you in my post today!!

  25. what I always tell the grandkids think twice or even three times before acting and think if there is consequences and if so will it be worth the consequences? If not then you know its probably better not to do it.I usually add will gpa and gma be upset? If you answer yes then again you better not do it. So far its been working but there have been a couple of close calls. I'll be glad when grandson is gone (3 more yrs) and Mr Gab and I can do our own thing good or bad.
