ReplyDeletesome of us still have to work for a living ya know!
ReplyDeleteyeah, no holiday here...
ReplyDeleteNo Presidents Day holiday here tomorrow, but we do have Family Day (don't ask). When I look at that photo I hear the click clack of high heels - the sound of a teacher returning to the classroom and kids scurrying back to their proper seats :)

ReplyDeleteHi ho, hi ho it's off to work you go. Hey G, unless I am going round the bend (which is quite possible), your link over at Susan's place, links back to her page, not yours. Mine's up.
ReplyDeleteG where did you get that photo prompt from it's not the one I got? :0
ReplyDeleteAnyway your story fits that pic great.
I envy those with a day off! ( it is snowing here again) I'll be late all day!
ReplyDeletethanks.
I hate when that happens.
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to drop your head back down on your pillow and know that you have the day off.
(I kept trying to click the link at # 11 and getting Susan's blog)
The disturbing part, is that I kept trying!)
Good one, G-Man! Topical. Clever.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it!! What a hoot! Have a great week!!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
too late to stay in bed then, I guess.
ReplyDeleteMy kids lost this holiday due to snow days, so the hubs and I are enjoying a quiet day!
Ah, such is life...you never sleep in when you can!
ReplyDeleteIt's a holiday here as well, I tried sleeping in but cats don't work that way. Wonderful Microfiction G-Man.
ReplyDeletePoor Abe and George, they both got screwed, no longer are their birthdays celebrated on the 12th and the 22th but now the 21st.Insult added to insult they are on the same day as all other presidents. However they still are celebrated and will be remembered forever for their president's sales discount day.
ReplyDeleteJim
Um, some of us were still doing the work thing today, although I have been there when the clocks change... LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh G-Man (the real one) I like this--reads like a student's nightmare. Good job with this week's MM. Cheers~
