THE RUBIYAT OF CHRISTMAS...
.
Spirit of the Season, the sights and sounds
Joy to the World, good will abounds
Feliz Navidads, Joyeaux Noels
The feeling of Love, completely surrounds
.
Spirit of the Season, a reason for Living
Spreading some Cheer, the beauty of Giving
Horse drawn sleighs, Jingle Bells
Rosy red cheeks, occassional sniffling
.
Spirit of the Season, your Energy and Zeal
Wide-eyed Amazement, Your innocent Appeal
Delicious treats you can not resist
At least One day a year, a Family Meal
.
Spirit of the Season, soon you'll be gone
Please don't abandon, the waitings too long
The Charm of the Holidays soon will be missed
Held close to your bosom, is where we belong
.
.
This poem was done in the RUBIYAT format.
The rhyming scheme is....
